Over the next two days, Paul has been hanging around with Noah and Millie which confused them a lot. So when Saturday came around whilst Noah was at work she decided to go to the pack house and confront him about it.
"Hey, Emily. Do you need help?" Millie asked when she looked in the kitchen window making the woman jump. "Millie, don't do that!" Emily scolded her opening the door, "Sorry. But do you?" Millie smiled and it Emily gave her smile back and they got to baking some cookies.
Not long after that they sat at the kitchen table when the pack came you, "You, get back outside." Millie said when she saw Paul and they went outside - the others knew Millie wanted answers.
"Well?" Millie asked folding her arms, "how do you walk in them?" Paul asked looking at her shoes, "it's not that difficult. What's wrong with you lately?" Millie demanded to know.
"Wh - nothing." Paul shrugged, "okay first of all I know you're lying because you suck at it. Second of all if you don't tell I'll get Edward to look in her head." Millie said firmly making him sigh.
"I imprinted." Paul whispered, "okay on who?" Millie asked, "Me or Noah and by way you're acting I'm going to take a wild guess and say Noah." she added when he didn't say anything.
"You two are getting married so I'll just remain friends." Paul said not wanting to come between them, but that made her laugh, like really laugh. "Thank you, I needed that laugh." Millie said still laughing.
"It's not funny!" Paul said, "yes, yes it is." Millie said. "Shut the fuck up." Paul snapped, "Okay, I'm sorry. You need to talk to him. I'll be there of course I mean I'm going to be his wife." Millie suggested, "You don't understand." Paul said.
"Then help me understand." Millie said in a soft voice, "I don't know how it happened but it did. I didn't just see my future with him, it was also you. You both are my imprints." Paul finally told her. "Oh. Oh." Millie said understanding him.
"Well this changes things." Millie said looking at her watch then pulls out her phone, "Noah, are you free?" she asked when he picked up the phone. "Okay, me and Paul will come see you." Millie said smiling, "I love you too. See you soon." she added.
"Get in the car hothead." Millie said turning around and walked towards her car, Paul got into the passenger seat and she drove to the hospital, she knew he was nervous but calmed him down by rambling.
When she parked her car, she saw Noah was waiting for her outside but frowned when he saw how serious the two of them looked. "What's going on?" Noah asked, "You need to tell me, not me." Millie said looking at Paul.
"The reason why I'm hanging around you two is because I saw my future." Paul said being vague making Mille kick him in his shin, "fuck sake." he said actually feeling it.
"So what's that got to do with us?" Noah asked noticing Carlisle joining them, "You imprinted." Carlisle said making him nod his head, "Instead of seeing one, you saw two. Like Alice, Jasper and Kaiden." Carlisle said clicking on to what he was trying to say.
"You're telling me - along with my wife, we have another mate which just so happens to be him?" Noah said pointing to Paul. "Oh fuck off, I'm not that bad." Paul said offended.
"Okay here is what is gong to happen - Noah whether you want or not you are taking him out next weekend because I know you have that weekend off and Paul you are going." Millie said firmly.
"I don't want to hear it! It's happening, he is effectively our third mate so you will treat him accordingly. Same goes for you dickhead." Millie said to them when they started to protest and she walked away with Carlisle leaving them there.
"She's right, I tried to keep it a secret you know. I didn't and don't want to come in between you two. She just knew." Paul said, "I know. Edward said something about a surprise coming our way. I didn't think it would be you." Noah said laughing.
"I'm serious though Noah. If you want me to back off I will - I can be just a friend." Paul said sincerely considering Noah's feelings. "Let's see how this week and the weekend goes because after me, you'll need to deal with her than both of us. If you can handle that then we can talk." Noah said tapping his shoulder.
"You're still getting married, right?" Paul asked, "Hell fucking yeah." Noah said making Paul breathe a sigh of relief, "Paul - we won't jump into anything. We will take it slowly - don't worry." Noah added before saying his goodbyes and going back to work.
After speaking to Carlisle about her work performance - he confidently assured her within two years she could do her exams. Noah came in, gave her a kiss and said they would speak at home, telling her he loves her, she informed him that she was going to see Charlie and if anything happens she will tell him.
When she went outside she saw Paul waiting for her, "Well?" she asked. Paul gave her a thumbs up and Millie smiled taking him back to the Rez before going to Charlie's.
