Over the next couple of days the Cullen's received a letter from the Volturi with outrageous accusations but none of them were true.

"They think they are immortal children?! Are they crazy?!" they heard Millie shout from upstairs when Noah told her and Paul about Volturi.

"Darling, you're going to have to calm down." Noah said looking at the clouds outside, "It's stupid! Do they look like immortal children?!" she yelled again making thunder clap.

"Oh, sorry." Millie said when she heard it but it didn't clear as she was still very angry, "Audacity of these people." she mumbled going down the stairs.

"Well, it's nice to know what causes the rain and thunder." Emmett said snickering as Millie glared at him as she walked over to her children who were playing piano with Edward.

Suddenly Alice dropped a vase causing Jasper to rush to her as Edward and Millie look in her mind to see what she saw. "Oh you've got to be kidding me." Millie groaned.

"What?" Emmett asked, "They're coming here. They aren't waiting." Edward said, "All of them, including Bella and Renee." Alice added just as Charlie and Harlow walked in.

"She's done this, hasn't she?" Charlie asked them, "I'm afraid so." Carlisle replied to him as Millie just looked at him not really knowing how to reply given what she told him the other night.

"We need to do something. Us alone can't take on the Volturi." Rosalie said, "Carlisle you have friends, we all have friends all over the world." Noah said making Carlisle and Esme look at him.

"I won't ask them to fight." Carlisle said, "Not fight, just listen." Millie replied as Esme put a comforting hand on his shoulder, "We can ask this of our friends." Esme said, Carlisle nodded and they went upstairs to pack and leave as soon as possible.

Alice, Jasper, Emmett and Rosalie did the same thing and Millie saw Noah outside in their garden, "Go. Just make sure you're back in time." she said making him turn around.

"What about the kids and Paul? Will they understand if I'm gone for a few days?" Noah asked his wife, "Paul will and the twins - we'll think of something." Millie replied, "Noah, if you don't do what you need to do then you might end up regretting it." she added when he didn't move.

"A few days. That's all." he said putting his hands on her face and she put her hands on top of his, "You make sure it's a few days or I swear I will build something and make you sleep in it." she said looking at him not even blinking.

"I know, jeez woman." Noah said making her smile as he kissed her when Paul came through the woods with the kids - "I'll take them inside. Talk to him." Millie said when they pulled away.

"Come on, shower than food." Millie said ushering the kids inside - even from inside, she could hear their conversation.

"I agree with her, you would regret it." Paul said sighing, "I know. It will only be a few days then I'll be back." Noah said, "I believe you. What are you worried about?" Paul asked him as they sat down.

"I don't want you four thinking I'm abandoning you to do this." he admitted, "Oh shut up. We understand why you're doing this, we're your family so it's understandable." Paul said shaking his head in disbelief.

20 minutes later Noah left leaving Millie and Paul to explained to Ivy and Asher why he will be gone for a few days when Charlie came round. "Hey dad." Millie said hugging him, "Hey, Harlow has gone to find some of her friends -" "and you are bored so you came here." Millie finished smiling when he shrugged and went to the kids.

Suddenly there was howl, "Go." Millie said kissing Paul before he left, "How long did it take for Noah to leave?" Charlie asked Millie, "About two hours." Millie sighed sitting down.

Noah returned home a week later and Millie was happy to see him but also angry at him. "A couple of days is three. Not fucking seven." she snapped at him, he just smiled at her.

"I've missed you too." he said grinning at her as the twins came running outside with Paul, "Hello, love." Noah said to Paul greeting them both as four unknown people came out the woods.

"You were right, Noah. Feisty wife and sexy husband." one girl said making Millie glare at her, "Shut it, Jamie." Noah said seeing Millie's and Paul's face.

"They agreed to help. Are we the first ones back?" Noah asked, "Nope. Alice and Jasper came back yesterday." Millie said as they walked inside to see everyone else turning up all except Harlow and Edward.

Everyone met the twins and were equally amazed on how they are, even more the fact Millie gave birth to them. "Rude." She scoffed when Jamie made a comment, "I'm going to smack her." Rosalie said when she saw her eyeing up Emmett.

"and I wouldn't stop you." Millie said, "No smacking anyone love. It's just how she is." Noah said wrapping his arms around her and winked at Paul - "You aren't getting away with being away for a week. A few days he said." Paul said to Rosalie.

"Look, I'm sorry. I was late coming back home but I'm here now and I'm sorry." Noah said which caused the two to smile, "We're just fucking with you." Paul said laughing when his jaw dropped.

"Oh you two are dicks." Noah said but he ended up smiling at them with each one under his arms as Carlisle started to speak, Millie wasn't exactly listening until they decided they didn't like what they were hearing.

"We are all on their list - my children as well are at the top of it. How can you willingly live under consent fear they will turn up kill you and take one of you because they can't get to you when your family is still alive? You know what, you can leave but it won't stop us from trying to stop them. We deserve to live in peace." Millie said shaking her head and walked to the kids' room.

"She's got a point." Noah said, "I will stick by my wife and family." Paul added following Noah upstairs to comfort Millie as she watched the twins sleep.

An hour or so later Carlisle came up - "Well you certainly made an impression on them." he said when he saw them, "Will they help?" Paul asked.

"Yes, they will." he smiled walking away leaving them alone.
