The suns started to come up so we all decide to head to bed before we have to be up for breakfast in a few hours. We show the boys to the guest rooms and we all leave them to sleep. we head to are floor "night guys" I tell them they all say goodnight go to my room and get into bed then I hear a knock on the door 'come in' max walks in and stands there I gesture for him to sit.
"Look I wanted to say sorry for being a dick, it's just I didn't want to get to close to you for you to leave me again, it's selfish I know, but I'm just letting you know that was why I acted the way I did but I'm over that now and I'm willing to try get over myself to be a good big brother to you" he says in one breathe.
"Max it's ok I understand, I was technically a stranger walking into your lives and I understand that me not being here was hard for you and the rest but if your willing to try. then I'll also put more effort into opening up...deal" I smile at him with my pinky out.
"Deal" he locks pinky's and kisses his thumb. "Wanna have a sleepover" I ask him. He smiles and nods eagerly "Get in" i gesture to the duvet cover. He hops in and lays there I move over and put my arm over his chest and lay my head on his bicep. "I love you shorty" he tells me. I squeeze him tight with a chuckle, I won't say it but I do like him and the rest a lot I just don't know if I love them yet only time will tell.
