The Oni and Dragon

"Guys the healers food here sucks!" Hiccup laughs fondly holding the screen that had Snot-lout and Tuff nut in it.

The two had luckily been better than the dragon riders imagined. The two had managed to get out of the floor before it exploded with the emperor and empress whom have both been put into a medically induced coma to recover and were on life support. No one knew if they would make it.

On a brighter note the two had no burns thanks to them wearing their dragon rider clothes underneath the guard uniforms, but debris had still done some damage plus the initial explosion. Tuff had a broken right arm, fractured leg, and two broken ribs. Honestly he has been in way worse conditions with less medical care so not one was really worried about him. The biggest worry they had was that the ninja mentioned the healers locking Tuff in his own padded room for his safety. This worry was brought up when Tuff tried using a defibrillator on himself and X rays showed his past extensive injuries that he happily bragged about inflicting on himself. Also he talked about being a dragon rider too so the Ninja had to work hard to prevent him from getting that lock up.

Snot-lout had worse injuries with a concussion, broken leg, a large gash in his stomach area that almost took out a kidney, another wound on his arm, his broken ribs almost punctured a lung, and had lost enough blood he needed a blood transfusion, but thankfully the blood transfusion ended up being a success and no negative effects.

Sadly though that blood had come from Tuff nut whom, after the ninja did testing due to Vikings medical curiosities, was a O negative blood type.

Now Tuff and Ruff won't stop calling Snot-lout a blood brother.

"You two seem to be recovering well," Hiccup notes fondly the other dragon riders crowded around him to make sure the two were okay.

"I am in niflheim. I died, get me out of here!" Snot-lout begs them.

"Come on blood brother were siblings now! You know I always wanted a brother, but I had to settle for the second best option," Tuff said obviously referencing Ruff.

"Hey! I won't hesitate to go over there and finish the job," Ruff states completely serious.

"Yeah yeah get off me mutton head. Hey how's Hookie is he okay?" Snot-lout questions worried for his dragon.

"Hook Fang's been anxious, but fine. We're hidden in a docked Harbour and the dragons are all with us right now. The top deck is crowded, but it's working," Hiccup explains to his friends.

"We're going to go over there soon guys. We're stopping by some place that has magic tea. We'll get you some healers tea and apparently it will really help to get you battle ready again quickly. The Ninja say we're going to need you both ready to fight," Astrid said.

Snot-lout scoffs. "Please babe I'm always battle ready! See these-ow! Ow," Snot-lout tried flexing, but that didn't work and now he was wincing in pain leaning back in the bed.

Tuff snatches the pad from his side and asks his burning question. "So what's the eta on our missing fire ninja? Did we manage to capture anyone to interrogate?" Tuff asks.

Hiccup frowns as the others turn to him. He actually hadn't had the chance to explain what happened. He does to them all right now and they were shocked, but instantly more worried.

"The idea that one of the most destructive, powerful, and dangerous forces of nature is in the hands of the enemy is not a pleasant thought," Fish-legs said playing nervously with his fingers. "And you say he managed to stop Tooth-less from sending a plasma blast? I didn't know Kai could do that," Astrid said.
