Sequel to "A Viking Chief's Twins": War of Oni & Dragon

Tooth-less growls at the temple and tried pulling Hiccup back from the temple. "What's wrong bud?" Hiccup worries never seeing Tooth-less this worked up.

"It's a Oni Temple and Tooth-less is a dragon. It must be setting him off," Lloyd assumes.

"Maybe hiccup should wait out here with Tooth-less?" Harumi suggests.

"No I'm coming. I'll be right back bud you stay out here on watch," Hiccup said. Tooth-less makes a sad warble, but nods.

With that the three of them entered the temple. Inside there were several pillars to jump on and below them was a very long drop. The cave was dark, but lit by the light outside and the glowing purple.... Stuff surrounding the top of the cave.

Lloyd jumps forward first and the pillar proved to be safe. Hiccup jumps on a different pillar and this was safe too, but then he noticed something. The pillar he was on had no symbol, but one near him and a few others did have a symbol.

"Hey Lloyd," Hiccup calls. Lloyd looks over at him as Hiccup points at the pillars. "Ours don't have symbols but those do. We should avoid jumping on them in case they're booby trapped," Hiccup suggests and Lloyd nods in agreement. "Did you hear that Rumi? Don't jump on any pillars with that symbol," Lloyd points to the princess who nods carefully jumping on a few pillars without the symbol.

Ahead there was a tunnel leading elsewhere so everyone carefully jumps to it. Hiccup pauses and glances behind him as Harumi and Lloyd go ahead. He hopes Tooth-less is alright out there alone. He hates to leave Tooth-less and cause distress, but Hiccup also doesn't want to leave Harumi alone with Lloyd.

Something was just not right with her.

Suddenly the cave starts shaking and Hiccup whips his head back to see the others shaking too.

"What's happening?!" Lloyd yells. "I don't know! I didn't touch anything!" Harumi claims.

"Hurry!" Everyone starts hurrying to jump to the tunnel as the entrance behind them closes and all the pillars start to fall and collapse. Lloyd jumps in first and held his arm out. He catches Harumi pulling her inside behind him. The pillar hiccup landed on crumbles under him, but Lloyd was close enough to grab him pulling hiccup in safely.

"And now we're tied again," Lloyd grins as Hiccup does too looking at the long fall behind him. That was too close for comfort.

"Let's keep moving before that happens again," Hiccup said looking out at the closed entrance now regretting leaving Tooth-less out there alone.

"Yeah there's no turning back now," Lloyd agrees and the three of them continued on.

Meanwhile

Kai knows this is likely very stupid, Kai knows if the S.O.G don't kill him his friends and family will, he knows he should be thinking of little Wu in his arms, but for the love of Spinjitzu Kai was not leaving his friends and family behind while he ran like a coward. If there is one thing Kai's not it's a coward and he never leaves anyone behind.

Kai was sitting on the bounty anchor as it moves through the skies peaking into the bounty through a convenient hole in the wood.

The dragons had all been chained and muzzled and the ninja and riders had all been chained together in one big circle with vengestone in the middle of the deck while they were steering towards the third Oni Temple.

The S.O.G were largely not paying attention to the ninja focusing on conversing with the ground team searching for him and Wu or searching the bounty for the Mask of Vengeance.

Already they had gone through most of the bounty and thrown a lot of their stuff out onto the deck even tearing up a few floor boards looking for it. They even tore apart the mattress's looking for it.
