With that, Earth went back to his room, the events of the evening swirling in his mind.
Lying down on the bed, Earth couldn't help but replay the situation he had with Mix just moments ago. His thoughts drifted back to the feeling of holding Mix's waist, the surprising realization of how slender Mix was. "He's so skinny," Earth murmured to himself, a faint blush creeping onto his cheeks.
Then, his mind wandered to the image of Mix's half-naked body, the sight of his milky skin leaving a lingering impression. "His skin..." Earth whispered softly, his heart rate quickening at the memory.
Finally, his thoughts settled on Mix's bare legs, the sight of them somehow captivating his attention. "Damn those legs," Earth muttered under his breath, his cheeks flushing with embarrassment at his own thoughts.
Suddenly, as if jolted back to reality, Earth slapped his own cheeks with surprising force. "What the hell is wrong with you!?" he scolded himself aloud, shaking his head in disbelief.
Shaking his head to clear his mind, Earth forced himself to compose. He pulled the duvet over himself and closed his eyes, determined to put the confusing thoughts out of his mind and focus on the task at hand. Yet, despite his efforts, a lingering sense of unease remained, leaving Earth grappling with the conflicting emotions swirling inside him.
In Mix's room, he tossed and turned in his bed, unable to shake the memories of the earlier encounter with Earth.
Mix recalled the sensation of Earth's firm grip around his waist, and he couldn't help but blush at the thought. "He held my waist," Mix whispered to himself, feeling a flutter of excitement mixed with embarrassment.
Then, memories of Earth seeing him half-naked flooded Mix's mind, causing his blush to deepen. "He saw my chest," Mix whispered, feeling self-conscious yet strangely exhilarated by the thought.
But amidst the flurry of emotions, Mix couldn't ignore the gratitude he felt towards Earth for thanking him for standing up for him in front of the villagers. "He thanked me." Mix admitted with a small smile, touched by Earth's unexpected kindness.
However, as quickly as the warm feeling washed over him, Mix waved his thoughts off, chastising himself for dwelling on such matters. "Mix, what the heck are you thinking? Go to sleep!" he scolded himself, pulling the duvet over his head in a feeble attempt to shut out the tumultuous thoughts swirling in his mind.
Yet, despite his efforts to quiet his mind, Mix found himself unable to shake the lingering sense of confusion and longing that had taken root within him, leaving him to grapple with the conflicting emotions that kept him tossing and turning throughout the night.
