As Mix and his little sister approached their home, they were taken aback by the commotion emanating from within. Holding tightly onto his sister's hand, Mix's heart raced with a sense of foreboding as they drew closer to the front door.
With the door slightly ajar, Mix cautiously peeked inside, his eyes widening at the scene that greeted him. Standing in their living room were his parents, Earth, and several villagers, their voices raised in a heated argument.
Mix's father attempted to calm the villagers down, his voice firm yet soothing. "Please, everyone, let's try to talk this through calmly," he urged, his eyes darting between the agitated villagers and Earth.
One of the villagers pointed accusingly at Earth, his voice laced with anger. "You said he was going to help us! What is this?" he demanded, his gaze fixed on Mix's father.
Mix's father sighed heavily, his brow furrowed with concern. "Yes, he is helping us," he replied, his tone pleading. "Please do not misunderstand him. What he did was for our own good."
But one of the villagers raised his voice even louder, his anger palpable. "For our own good? Don't try to fool us," he retorted, his gaze fixed accusingly on Earth. "Look at the documents he showed us. It clearly states here that we will give our land to the government!"
Earth tried to explain, but before he could, one of the villagers grabbed his collar, his frustration boiling over into aggression. Mix witnessed the altercation, his instincts kicking in as he dashed forward to protect Earth. His little sister followed suit, hiding behind him.
Facing the villagers, Mix spoke with conviction, his voice steady despite the tension in the air.
"Uncles, you watched me grow up when I was young. I know how much the land means to all of you," he began, his eyes scanning the faces of the villagers. "But violence is not going to solve our problems."
Mix continued, his words earnest and heartfelt. "Mr. Earth Pirapat here is my boss. He's a good lawyer, and he has fought many complicated cases before. He will do what is best for his client," he explained, gesturing towards Earth. "His dad trusted his abilities to help you all, so please listen to what he has to say."
As Mix spoke, he hoped that his words would resonate with the villagers, urging them to set aside their anger and frustration in favor of open dialogue and cooperation. Deep down, he knew that only through understanding and compromise could they hope to find a resolution to their shared dilemma.
