Mix's mother opened the door and welcomed them inside with a warm smile. "Oh, you guys are home? Come on in. It's been a long day," she said, gesturing for them to enter.
Earth and Mix followed her inside, feeling grateful for her hospitality. Mix's mother passed them each a glass of honey drink with a kind smile. "Drink this, relax a bit, take a bath, and sleep early," she advised, her motherly concern evident in her voice.
Both Earth and Mix thanked her, feeling touched by her thoughtfulness. Mix then turned to his mother with a concerned expression. "Mum, how's dad doing?" he asked, his voice filled with worry.
Mix's mother reassured him with a gentle smile. "Oh, don't worry. He's fine. He just went to the doctor earlier today. The doctor said his body has been under too much stress lately, and he hasn't been resting enough," she explained, her tone tinged with concern.
Mix nodded, relieved to hear that his father was okay. "I see. Well, I hope he takes it easy and gets some rest," he said, his concern for his father evident in his voice.
Mix's mother nodded in agreement. "Yes, I've told him the same thing. Hopefully, he'll listen and take better care of himself," she replied, her expression reflecting her worry for her husband.
With that, Mix and Earth bid Mix's mother goodnight and made their way to their respective rooms. As they prepared for bed, their thoughts turned to Mix's father, hoping that he would heed the doctor's advice and take the necessary steps to prioritize his health and well-being.
Earth then turned to Mix's mother with a reassuring smile. "Auntie, please tell Uncle to rest from now on. I have already gathered enough information, and I shall cover the rest of the case myself," he said, his voice firm but gentle.
Mix's mother looked at Earth with gratitude shining in her eyes. "Thank you very much, Earth. That means a lot to us," she replied, her voice filled with appreciation.
Earth nodded in response, his determination evident in his expression. "Of course, Auntie. Your family's well-being is important to me," he said sincerely, his gaze reflecting his commitment to helping them through this difficult time.
With that, Mix's mother bid Earth and Mix goodnight, feeling reassured knowing that Earth would take care of the remaining tasks.
Mix and Earth finished their drinks and head to their respective rooms. Before entering his own room, Mix made a detour to peek at his sleeping little sister, smiling softly at the sight of her peaceful slumber. Satisfied that she was safe and sound, Mix quietly made his way back to his own room.
