The next morning, Mix awoke to the soft rays of sunlight filtering through his window, casting a warm glow across his room. Stretching languidly, he opened his eyes to find Earth sitting by his bedside, looking at him.
Startled by Earth's presence, Mix attempted to sit up, but his movements were clumsy as usual. In his haste, he accidentally knocked his head against the bed headboard, eliciting a yelp of pain.
"Ouch!" Mix exclaimed, rubbing his sore head with a wince.
Earth, who had witnessed the entire mishap, couldn't help but chuckle softly at Mix's clumsiness. Quickly moving to his side, he gently rubbed Mix's head while checking to ensure he wasn't injured.
"Mix, are you alright?" Earth asked, his voice filled with concern.
Mix nodded, albeit still feeling a bit dazed. "I'm... okay sir," he replied, his voice slightly shaky from the pain.
Earth sighed softly, shaking his head in exasperation. "Didn't I keep telling you to be careful?" he chided gently, his eyes filled with affection.
Mix sheepishly nodded in response, feeling grateful for Earth's care and concern. Despite the mishap, he couldn't help but feel comforted by Earth's presence by his side.
Mix, still feeling a bit dazed from the bump on his head, questioned Earth about his presence in his room.
"Mr Pirapat , why are you here?" Mix asked, his voice tinged with curiosity.
Earth smiled warmly as he gently fondled Mix's hair, his touch comforting. "I am going to court today," he explained, his tone calm and reassuring.
Mix's eyes widened in realization. "Are you going to fight the case today?" he inquired, his voice filled with concern.
Earth nodded affirmatively. "Yes, I am," he confirmed, his expression determined.
"I hope everything goes well," Mix said earnestly, a hint of worry in his voice.
In response to Mix's concern, Earth reached out and gently squeezed his hand. "Thank you, Mix. Your support means a lot to me," he said, his voice filled with gratitude.
Mix smiled softly, his eyes reflecting his unwavering support for Earth. "I'll be rooting for you," he replied, his voice filled with determination.
With a nod of appreciation, Earth rose from Mix bed, ready to face the challenges of the day ahead. As he prepared to leave, he turned to Mix once more, a warm smile on his lips.
"I'll see you later," Earth said, his gaze lingering on Mix for a moment longer before he turned and left the room.
As Mix watched Earth go, a sense of pride swelled within him. He knew that Earth was a force to be reckoned with in the courtroom, and he had every confidence that he would emerge victorious.
