Earth finally managed to whip up a nutritious porridge, he felt a sense of accomplishment wash over him. With a sigh of relief, he thanked Mix's mother for her invaluable guidance before they ended the call.
But before hanging up, Mix's mother wanted to remind Earth of a few important things to keep in mind while caring for Mix. Their conversation continued as follows:
Mix's Mother: "Earth, I just want to remind you of a few things to help take care of Mix."
Earth: "Of course, Auntie. Please, go ahead."
Mix's Mother: "Firstly, Mix tends to be scared of needles and cough syrup. There's no way he's going to agree to see a doctor, so we'll have to be creative in treating his symptoms."
Earth: "I understand. I'll keep that in mind."
Mix's Mother: "Secondly, when it comes to medication, you can break the tablets into smaller pieces and mix them into his food. That way, he won't even notice he's taking them."
Earth: "That's a clever idea. I'll definitely give it a try."
Mix's Mother: "And finally, Mix tends to sleep more when he's not feeling well. While he'll likely be fine with some rest, make sure to keep an eye on his fever and monitor any changes in his condition."
Earth: "Got it. I'll be sure to keep a close watch on him."
Mix's Mother: "One more thing, Earth. Make sure he stays hydrated. Plenty of fluids will help him recover faster."
Earth: "Thank you, Auntie. I really appreciate your advice. I'll do my best to take care of Mix."
With Mix's mother's guidance fresh in his mind, Earth set about his task with renewed determination. Armed with her instructions and a warm bowl of porridge in hand, he made his way back to Mix's side.
Carefully balancing the bowl of porridge in his hands. Gently, he shook Mix awake, his voice soft and reassuring.
"Mix, I made you some porridge," Earth said, his tone gentle as he offered his assistant the warm bowl.
Mix slowly opened his eyes, blinking away the remnants of sleep as he adjusted to the light. With Earth's help, he sat up slowly, accepting the bowl from his boss with a grateful nod.
"Thank you, Sir," Mix murmured, his voice still hoarse from his illness.
Earth smiled warmly, his gaze filled with concern as he watched Mix take a small spoonful of the porridge. "Be careful, it's hot," he cautioned, knowing how eager Mix could be to eat when he was hungry.
Mix blew on the spoonful of porridge before cautiously tasting it. A faint smile tugged at the corners of his lips as he savored the familiar taste, reminiscent of his mother's cooking. With each spoonful, his appetite seemed to return, and he quickly polished off the bowl with Earth's encouragement.
As Mix finished the last bite, Earth fetched a glass of water for him to wash it down. Mix drank it gratefully, the cool liquid soothing his parched throat.
"Mix, why don't you take a rest in your bedroom?" Earth suggested gently.
Mix nodded tiredly, allowing Earth to help him to his feet. With Earth's support, he made his way to his bedroom, his body still feeling weak and fatigued from his illness.
