He would definitely be surprised at first, and I think you'd probably feel a bit of bone (since chickens have feathers but no real skin). But your head might fall into his lap.

She'd be caught off guard for real. She'd probably try to not move as much and be quiet so you don't wake up?
Catnap
In his bigger body form he would probably curl around you like a big lion/tiger does with its cub/baby. In his regular form he would silently watch you sleep like 😀.
Bubba Bubbaphant
He would put his arm around you so you don't fall or hit your head. If you drool in your sleep he would probably wipe it off. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
