as she leaned in towards him, his hands instantly shot out to embrace her fully. His hands were large and engulfed her fully as he pulled her as close as possible as if he could shield her from everything bad in the world. Konig couldn't explain the urge he had to protect her from everything, every ounce of his strength was telling him to protect this recruit at all costs, the urge to ensure that she's safe and she's in good hands... this is what he fought for. The urge to be protective, caring and nurturing...

Kiwi sighed, as she felt him embrace her...she felt safe and at peace, her body starting to relax and she leaned into his chest. She could hear his heart beating wildly against his rib cage, he must be nervous she thought. She snuggled into him, his warmth was calming and his scent was intoxicating... he smelt like pine, and warm cocoa on a cold night, very masculine.

*he held her for what felt like an eternity, his arms gripped her just enough so that she felt him but not so tight that it was squeezing the life out of her. He couldn't get enough of feeling her body against his... and having her against him made him feel warm and safe as well. Konig inhaled her scent as well, her soft and delicate fragrance was intoxicating to him. His own heart beat faster as he felt her against him, his mind started to wonder...*

*He finally loosened his grip on her and looked down at her, their bodies were still within close proximity. His heart beat started to slow down as he saw her warm, soft, gentle and beautiful eyes. He smiled slightly as he noticed she was staring right at his lips and he also noticed that his own lips felt hot and numb from the intense desire he had to kiss her... his mind started racing again, 'what if I-'.. 'No I can't..'...*

She closed her eyes, moving her hands to his chest once again. She felt herself slipping in and out of consciousness.

*he noticed her eyes were starting to close and as she moved her hands back to his chest, he took this as an opportunity to hold her even closer as he knew he could not risk letting her fall over or anything like that. This was making him feel very protective and tender towards her, which wasn't a good thing because it was showing his emotion which was against his training. He was supposed to be cold and emotionless in front of the recruits all the time and never show his emotional side to them. He knew this but he couldn't help himself..*

*he was watching her now as she began to slip in and out of consciousness. His mind was racing, he was debating wether to pull away or not, but the feeling of her body pressed against his felt too good. He was just trying to enjoy as much of this moment as he could, just her body close to his felt incredible, he didn't want this moment to end. He kept staring at her with the slightest smile on his face..*

*he watched her as her eyes shifted between being slightly open and closed. He noticed that they were starting to close more and more now. He could feel her breath slow down as well. When her body was pressed against his in this position, he could feel her heartbeat slowing and becoming more shallow. He was a little scared knowing where her state of consciousness was heading, but he was enjoying being in this position for just a little bit longer..*

*after a quiet moment and him watching as she almost fell asleep completely, he finally said, trying with all his strength to be as quiet and soothing as possible*

Konig: ".. Kiwi.."

She stirred slightly at his soothing words, her eyes remained close and her breathing shallow and soft.

*He noticed just how soft her breath sounded when she was starting to slip into deep sleep. His heart sped up with that realization that she was this close to deep sleep. He wanted nothing more than to hold her as he spoke again, his voice was even softer than before but only barely*

Konig: "..Kiwi, can you hear me..?"

*His heartbeat started to speed up as he waited for her response. His grip on her slightly tightened in a way that felt more protective than before. His eyes watched her closely, waiting for sign of her hearing him...*
