König had trouble sleeping that night, Y/n kept popping back into his mind especially the fight and him confessing that he was jealous of her nonexistent boyfriend, which made it difficult for him to rest, he felt flushed and anxious. So he decided to text her...

All of a sudden he felt a vibration as his phone lit up.

Kiwi: I can't sleep...

*Konig's phone buzzed in his pocket, pulling him out of his thoughts as he checked the message. It was from Y/n. He hesitated for a moment before typing out a response*

"You're not alone."

*Konig smiled softly, his eyes lingering on the screen for a moment before he put his phone away and returned to his thoughts*

Kiwi: keep thinking of the fight I had with Ghost, I'm a little worried but I'm glad I earned his respect! :D <3 also Ty for supporting me!

*Konig couldn't help but feel a surge of protectiveness towards Kiwi. He knew Ghost could be intimidating, but he was glad that Kiwi had stood up for herself. A small smile tugged at the corners of his mouth as he thought about how strong and independent Kiwi was. He couldn't help but feel a bit envious of Ghost for getting to see Kiwi in action.*

König: "Gern geschehen, schöne Frau. Es war sehr amüsant, dir zuzusehen. Du lässt mein Herz höher schlagen, Liebling."
(You're welcome beautiful lady, it was fun watching you, darling.)

Kiwi: ... what!? How am I supposed to know what that is? Is that German?

König: Yeah it is, Liebling :)

Kiwi: What does Liebling mean?

König: It's just a nickname, doesn't mean anything really...

Kiwi (Liebling):
Oh okay :3 can I call you anahera kaitiaki? (Guardian Angel)

König: Sure, may I ask what language that is from?

Kiwi (Liebling): It's Te Reo Māori, native language, in my homeland.

König: I'd like to visit New Zealand one day...

Kiwi: (Liebling):
You definitely should! I would be your tour guide! <3 :p

König: Das würde mir sehr gefallen, Liebling.
(I'd like that very much, Darling.)

Kiwi (Liebling): I'm assuming that's a yes lol XD
You should come to my room, I want to see ya :))

Y/n watched as her door opened, König walking in. His eyes warm and comforting. He sat across her bed.

"May I ask why you wear a mask all the time?"

*Konig chuckled softly, his eyes twinkling behind his mask. He knew he couldn't keep it hidden forever, but he enjoyed the mystery for now. He leaned in closer to Kiwi, his voice low and husky.*
"It's part of my persona, love. I like to keep an air of mystery around me. Plus, it helps me stay focused during intense moments."

"But it's nighttime... shouldn't you take it off? It isn't intense right now...?"

*Konig laughed lightly, shaking his head. He knew Kiwi was curious, but he also enjoyed keeping her on her toes. He leaned back against the wall, crossing his arms over his chest.* "Well, love, I'm not one to break character. Besides, I kind of like the way it feels. It's become a part of. But if it really bothers you, I can always take it off."
