In the cave of the Lion Guard's Lair...
The Lion Guards all gather together to hear Rafiki answering Makini's question: can bakora staff be used to summon the evil lions of the past, such as Scar?
Ushari the cobra, the one who actually came up with this question, conceals himself behind some leaves and listens carefully.
Rafiki: The great lions of the past are in the sky, and you can all see Kion using the roar to make those lions appear. But the roar can also summon the worst lions of the Pridelands past.
Ushari (flicks his tongue in excitement and murmurs secretly): Yesss, yesss! Keep going, old mandrill! Tell me how to talk to Ssscar!
... ... (Rafiki talking)
Rafiki: Once summoned, the bakora can be used to talk to evil lions as well. But remember, talking to bad lion, IT IS A BAD IDEA!
Makini: Got it, I totally understand!
Ushari (says with satisfaction): and ssso do I.
Ushari slithers quietly and furtively out of the Lion Guard's Lair. He glances cautiously from left to the right. Nobody is around. He lets out a relieving sigh: phew, Shupavu did a great job. For now, I ssshall think of the next step of my plan, before meeting with those stupid hyenas.
He searches on the Pridelands for a shelter. Unaware to him, Janja is still being suspicious of him and has sent two hyenas to follow him. They manages to catch Ushari before he slithers into grass and takes him to the Outlands. One of the hyenas throws Ushari in front of Janja. Chungu immediately grabs the snake's tail.
Janja: What took you so long? You planned to run away from us, didn't you?
Ushari (answers nervously): Of...of course not! Um...I have got the secret of how to bring Scar back! Hear this... (whispers to Janja)
Meanwhile, around the Pride Rock...
Three lionesses circle around me and begin attacking me from all directions. It's getting tough for me to ward them off without hurting them. They simply refuse to listen to my explanation! One lioness pounces onto my back from behind. I immediately shoves her away. The other two then strike me at the same time. The older lioness is fierce and fast. She jumps in front of me and strikes at my shoulder, while her younger helper grabs my back. I let out a roar, knock the older one back by using my head, and swat the younger one aside. Then I grab the older lioness's paws and pin her onto the ground.
I: Stop! Tell your helpers to cease this fight, or I won't let you go!
Older Lioness: You won't get away with this, stranger! The royal family will arrive at any minute!
I (think for a moment and let her go): Alright, you three don't need to fight me. I am willing to see the royal family myself. There's something I have to talk to them privately.
They are surprised, but they lead me to the royal family anyway. When we get to the top of the Pride Rock, I see the whole family greet two mandrills. The old one is Rafiki. The young female mandrill must be Makini. Janna mentioned that she will be the next Royal Mjuzi. Today must be her first day officially meeting the royal family.
Simba and his family are visibly surprised to see me and three lionesses waiting in the entrance. After Makini and Rafiki left, he looks at me and asks the lionesses: What's the meaning of this? Who's this stranger lion?
Older Lioness (bows with respect) : King Simba, we found this stranger near the Pride Rock. He's said to be an Outlander. Two Pridelanders reported seeing him collaborate with hyenas.
