After a year. (Another spring event)
« Amel, you look so beautiful in this dress, you remind
me so much of your mother, Nacira » said Rawda with sparkling eyes.
« Thank you, mother. I wish my Dad was here, last spring he left us, and this spring I am getting married (cries)» wished Amel sadly.
« Be strong and pray for him, and don't cry, this is your wedding day » said Rawda while hugging Amel.
"I wish that he could walk me to my future husband (cries)" wished again Amel in tears.
"Don't cry, Amel. Your makeup will be all messed up" said Rawda trying to persuade Amel that everything will be better.
My Dad died a year ago, but I know that no one of us will forget him.
Before my wedding day, I went to his grave, I decided to go there happy as I am going to get married, and I am supposed to be happy, I did not want to cry though one of my big desires was him walking me to my groom. I also visited the grave of my mother Nacira, who was buried next to my father, I prayed for her soul, and I wished that she could be by my side; and with my father on this promised day.
Even though our outsides got better, and we are trying to accept day after day; the ugly truth, but I bet that our insides are all messed up, well, that is my case for sure.
They say that time heals all wounds.
I say that time spreads out the wounds over it; giving the
impression that time heals.
