I glare down at the numbers on the piece of paper Ally gave me. Do I call her? Or do I leave it there? I can't tell Tana because she wouldn't get the right impression of me meeting up with a girl. Especially one she hasn't even met before. I fold the paper and put it in my pocket, trying to get my mind off it. I'm sitting alone on the couch. Ammon and Gunnar are upstairs taking a nap and Tana is parading around the house sorting a few things out. She walks past me and I quickly wrap my arms around her stomach and pull her close to me. I sit her on my lap.
"Relax for a bit.." I tell her. She seems exhausted. She's cleaning the entire house. I don't know why. The place is already perfectly clean.
"I can't. I have to finish. I've only got one or two more rooms to go and then I'll relax" She says, trying to get out of my arms.
"No, you need to lay down for a bit" I look into her eyes. "You're about to fall asleep, I can tell"
I gently pull her down. I wrap my arms around her waist and hold her. She rests her head against my warm chest.
"Brandon.." She wraps her arm around me, clinging onto my shirt.
"Go to sleep. You need it" I whisper into her ear.
"Hmm.." She tiredly says.
Within a few seconds, her eyes are closed. She's sleeping peacefully. I shut the TV off, so that it won't disturb her. I rest my head on hers and can hear her breathe.

I've been laying here with her for about two hours. I don't want to move, because I know for a fact that if I do I'll wake her. She starts moving. Finally. I slowly run my fingers through her blonde hair. She stretches her arms and her legs. She rests her left leg on mine and looks up at me.
"Hey.." I smile at her.
"Hello" She rests her head back on my chest.
"Did you sleep good?"
"Yeah.." She yawns.
"I told you that you needed to sleep" I accurately say.
"Yeah.."
She puts her hand on my hip and slowly sits up. Resting her back against my stomach as I keep holding her. She finds my hand and locks her fingers in mine.
"You're done for the day" I tell her. "You're gonna relax with me"
"But I haven't finished, I need -" I cut her off.
"Babe, I'm not arguing with you. You're exhausted, you're not doing anything else."
She doesn't say anything and just falls back on the couch laying down. I softly kiss her lips and hold her tight and gently squeeze her.
"Love you.." I whisper.
"I love you more.."
"I don't even think that's possible" I chuckle.

"Tana?" I glance over at her. Her eyes are shut and she's resting her head on her arm. I shut the TV off. The kids are already in bed so we may as well go as well. I turn all the lights off and lock the doors. I slowly put my arm underneath Tana's legs and the other around her back holding her arm. I pick her up and carry her to bed. She went upstairs earlier to put her pajama's on, so I don't have to do anything about that. The room is dark and I can't see anything, but somehow I manage to walk over to the bed without making a sound. I open the covers and lay her down, she rolls over and rests her head on the pillow and remains to be asleep. It's too warm tonight, it has been one of those warm days, so I decide to sleep in my boxers tonight. I pull my clothes off and put them in the closet and quickly get in bed. I roll over to Tana and wrap my arms around her waist. I kiss the back of her head and close my eyes.

I woke up at 7:30, so I decided to go out for a long jog. I put my joggers on and a hoodie. I grab my phone and earphones and head out. I walk out towards the sidewalk and put music in my ears. I slowly start to jog down the road.
I've been out for about 30 minutes and then I'm interrupted. My music stops and it starts ringing instead. It's Tana.
"Hey babe" I take a breath and slow down my pace.
"Where are you?" She curiously asks.
"I'm out jogging. Why, is everything okay?" "Everything's fine. I was just worried about where you were" She says
"I won't be long. Love you" I hang up and put my phone back in my pocket.

"Hey Ally, its Brandon.. I was wondering if you'd like to go out to dinner. Maybe, to catch up?" I know I'm gonna regret it.
"Hey! Yeah, I would love to have dinner with you. When?" She asks with excitement in her voice.
"Uh, I'm free tonight.. If that's okay with you"
"Yeah sure! I'll see you later! Bye"
