Brandon's POV
"Daddy?" I open my eyes, and see Ammon staring at me. What an awesome way to wake, with my beautiful little boy laying on my chest.
"What's wrong buddy?"
His little hand drew patterns of circles over his belly. He always did that when he was hungry, and it was the cutest thing in the world. "My belly wants food, daddy."
"And what does your belly want?" I give my prince a heartwarming smile.
"Umm.. Waffles and bacon, please... Oh! And juice!" He says with such exitement. I guess he was a morning person. He always woke up feeling so happy and it always made my day much better and put a smile on my face. Today, Ammon was spending the day with his friend, Sam. Sam's mom was taking them to the Shark Reef Aquarium down in Vegas for the day, and Ammon hadn't stopped talking about it all week! He loves to go and see all the different kinds of animals that they have there. In all, there are over 2,000 animals in 1.6 million gallons of water! Crazy!
"Okay, buddy. Daddy's gonna take you to Sam's house, okay? Mommy needs her rest."
"How long until I have another little brother?" He was as exited as I was for having another kid in the house. But now that Gunnar is talking more and more these days, we have found out that he is the stubborn one. He doesn't want another baby in our house. He says he wants to be the youngest here. But I guess he'll just have to put up with it. It's not as if we can change things now anyway. Not that we would want to.
"A few more months baby, not long." I smile at him.
I left Ammon in his pyjama's. Not wanting to change him yet, just in case he got his clothes dirty. Tana dressed him in a cute little onsie last night, with patterns of colourful trains and planes on them. And my God, was he adorable! I held his hands as he walked in between my legs downstairs to the kitchen, he took the exact same steps as I did, he copied a lot of things I did. The way I ate, the way I talk, which is pretty funny if you ask me. He wants to be just like his daddy when he's older, and I can't blame him.
Our house was nicely decorated, everything was a light coloured. It would be depressing if it was dark anyways. Tana and I moved in about a month before we got married. We had been living in a apartment for the space of two years, well her mostly, as I was off on the Hot Fuss tour for the biggest space of it. Our apartment was so cramped! With all the things we had scattered around. Although, we did try and keep it as neat as possible, it was pretty hard at most times because we didn't have enough space to put things away. This was the first home we viewed and we new this is exactly where we wanted to start a family together. We had an island in the middle of our kitchen and I sat Ammon on it as he watched me cook and fry his bacon, he loved it crispy, and I did it perfectly every time. He liked my cooking much more than his mom's, I don't even know why. Tana's cooking is much better than mine! He must just love the junk food side of what I cook.
After my son and I shared a delicious breakfast together, I put the dirty dishes in the dishwasher, ready to be turned on and cleaned later on, after lunch most likelyj. Once we were in his room, I started scanning through his closet, he had so many clothes for being a 4 year old! I don't even remember having this much clothes when I was a child.
After changing him into cute, comfy clothes. He was ready for his fun day ahead. I grabbed his backpack from the corner of the room with his toys in, which he & Sam would play with later after going to the aquarium. His backpack was patterend with Spider-Man, filled with red & blue colours. Spider-man was one of his favourite superhero's, along with Iron Man, not a bad choice. He just loved when the web came out when Spider-Man flew from building to building, he fantasises about being like Spider-Man when he's older. I don't know why on earth he wants to get biten by a spider. Kids are kids.
