Levi Ackerman, Unforgivable

17. He whispers. I whisper back...

"Yes, I will be your girlfriend."

I say cheerfully whispering into his ears.

Levi's face instantly lights up when he hears my answer. It's clear that he has been longing for this moment for some time, yet he never knew how this kind of thing works so he kept waiting.

"If that's how todays children say it." He blushes, looking away. "Then I'll be your boyfriend... Boyfriend..." He repeats, like as he is tasting the sound of the word. "Tch, no. I'm your man. Your significant other. Not just a boyfriend."

"Okay." I laugh with him. "So... it's official now?"

"I guess." He turns back putting his hand on my knee. "Yes, it is."

Levi continues with his smile full of happiness, he looks childishly delighted that I accepted being his girlfriend. 

"Then... I want to ask you a question, my..." Sighs. "Girlfriend."

"But don't stop calling me princess. That's my favourite." I giggle putting my other hand on our already locked hands.

Levi pauses, his voice is a little more nervous and he seems to hesitate before speaking.

"You know I'm really serious about this, right? My life is full of dangers and risks, but if you are by my side that is all that matters to me. I want you to be saf. Are you ready for this?"

He says seemingly being in deep thoughts as he waits for my answer.

"I am."

That is when other soldiers are roaming right into the room, Eren sits facing me and the others are around us. Armin looks sincerely happy to see us like this, not like Mikasa. I happen to not recognize the other soldiers.

Levi's face instantly becomes tense, he is now the Captain.

"Damn it, I knew this peace wouldn't last long." He says looking to the side.

"So you guys are official now?" Eren asks, hiding well the jealousy in his voice.

Levi's face immediately darkens, he did not like Eren's comment. But he manages to control his anger and responds.

"Yes, we are in a relationship now, but don't you even think of getting in the way of it." Levi whispers with so much power, even I feel intimidated.

"I never would." Eren puts his hands in the air for surrender. "Unless she wants me to." He winks my direction and for my own surprise I feel a weird sesation in my stomach that I usually feel when Levi touches me without warning.

I observe how good Eren's low bun looks, his features are pretty...

I must have hit my head really bad when he threw me across the arena... I look at Levi.

I notice Levi looks even more angrier after Eren's statement whatever he said, he doesn't like that the guy seems to be messing around.

"Let me give you a piece of advice, keep your distance and know your limits. Or I will kick your face like I did in front of the judge back in the days. Know where you're coming from."

Levi  is very possessive and he has no tolerance for Eren to mess around. He has already made clear that he sees Eren as an enemy who would not even hesitate to make a move if he had the chance.

Yet Eren shows no signs of fear, but he has clearly realized that the situation is more sensitive than what he had previously thought. Eren looks away from Levi and he decides to avoid further problems and to stay away.
