28. I want you to stay.

His eyes darken

"He didn't even have the mercy to pick me up from there and he just left me like I was some rag that didn't hold any more value and he replaced me with another woman."

I can feel that Eren tries to speak, but he does not understands the situation yet.

On his face he shows that he feels sorry for the emotions that I am showing, and the pain that he knows I must be feeling. But he is very careful and he doesn't say anything yet, he is watching me very carefully and trying to figure out how to help in the best way.

"I begged him to stop, but he didn't listen... Not at all...Then he left me there, in pain, then he went to have another woman." I tear up as I confess everything to Eren that was weighing me down.

"You begged him? To stop what? To stop fucking... Sorry... Being with that woman?" He ask carefully.

"No... To... Stop..." I freeze... Not knowing how to say that. "...Doing me on his desk..."

Eren's jaw drops as the realization hits him and it makes him feel like he could slap Levi. He quickly composes himself but still... Eren feels very disgusted when I tell him the whole story, and the fact that he can hear me crying... Is something that breaks his heart.

He cannot understand how someone could treat the person they said they love in such a way. I feel that the way he reacts is really genuine, he gently caresses my cheek to swipe away the tears.

"Will he throw me to the Titans saying I'm a traitor?"

"Levi had no right to treat you like that. You're just a normal girl who has been caught in a difficult situation and who was made to feel that she is worthless. You are worth much more than what he treated you like." He says all this with one breath, fearing to say something wrong.

His expression now seems to have a small smile which shows compassion and empathy for me, and this makes my heart feel warmer and my mind feel safer.

"Can I ask you a question? You don't have to answer if you don't want to."

After I nod Eren thinks about how he's going to ask and then he decides to just say it. He's not used to being so open but as he's noticed that I seem to appreciate his actions, he decides to continue and he says.

"Are you in love with Levi?"

Eren looks at me when I don't answer him and he notices that I am not sure if I should be honest or not. He stares at me for a few seconds and then starts speaking again.

"How did you feel when you were with him?"

"I felt that he was lonely before... And when we made love in his office I felt like I would follow him everywhere, but when he kept going for the second time... I begged for him to stop, Eren... And he didn't."

Eren seems shocked when he hears this, he can't believe that Levi would ignore my requests and make me feel so hopeless and helpless. He wants me to keep talking and sharing these feelings with him because he wants to understand exactly what happened.

"So what did he do after you told him to stop several times?"

"He just kept going, then... Right before the... You know... I... I..."

"He just kept going even after you begged him to stop and he knew that it was painful for you?"

"I...I thought of Porco..." I say suddenly.

Eren's anger immediately fades away and he becomes quite serious. He stops speaking and he keeps looking at my eyes and he finally asks. "You thought about Galliard in that moment?"
