Author's POV

3:10 A.M.

Everyone were dead asleep except mona, who just waked up because of dry throat. A sigh left her mouth seeing the water jug empty.

'Ab aadhi raat ko akele niche jaana padega.' She whined internally and left the room to go to the kitchen.

( I'll have to go downstairs alone now.)

After drinking water and refilling the jug, she was about to ascend the stairs when her eyes fall on a shadow casted on the other end of the haveli. Lots of dim lights were on so it wasn't all black.

''Who's there?" she said trying to look closely at the shadow.

Told ya.....she has damn brave guts.

''Househelper.'' the shadow replied and slowly she saw a lady in white kurti.

She was looking like she was in her early twenties. Not gonna lie, mona got chills on her back of her neck listening to the voice of the lady.

''Aap aadhi raat ko yaha kya kar rahi hai?'' mona asked.

(What are you foing here at this time.)

''Woh aaj mera vrat hai to puri raat ka jagrata hai.'' the shadow replied.

(I am fasting today and it is a ritual of fast to be awake all night.)

All this time they both were at their respective places. Mona at the kitchen entrance and the lady at the other end of the haveli.

''Achcha thik hai phir aap jagrata continue rakhiye..mai chali sone.'' mona said with a chuckle.

(Okay then continue your fast, I'll go to sleep.)

''Zarur, par dhyan rakhie hamesha ke liye aankh na lag jaae.'' the lady replied and went away from there in slow steps.

(Sure, but make sure you don't remain asleep your whole life.)

Mona got chills from her answer but maintained her face. She didn't understood what the lady said but eventually went upstairs shrugging the lady's talks.

'So jao jitna sona hai....fir me bhi dekhti hu kese kisi ki aankh bhi lagti hai.' voice of that lady echoed in the haveli following by her evil laughter.

(Sleep as much as you want. Then I'll see who gets a snap of sleep.)

Next morning

Kaaya's POV

8:15 A.M.

Today we all waked up early because today we are shooting the videos and we'll try to shoot both videos today only. I am also surprised by myself that I woke up this early, but tbh I didn't slept whole night. Who could after the little stunt I pull.

I know all the things were going a little bit fast but I am 110% sure that I've seen an innocent crush in rivansh's eyes for me. Even I lose my voice and mind when I'm near him.

There is a different type of battle going in my mind and heart every time when we are close. But last night when we were close and rivansh held my hand for the first time a little part of me told me to trust and believe my heart so I hold his hand back firmly.

We didn't looked at each other's face I am damn sure that both of our faces were a dark shade of red from blushing. Thanks to the dim lights of the haveli that he didn't saw my face.
