Sometimes, the things you see in shadows, are more than just shadows.

Abhi's POV
15 minutes ago :

After all the students went out of the temple premises, me and shivangi went towards the priest to talk about the current situation of the haveli.

"Pranam panditji." I said, with joined hands and bowing to him. Shivangi did the same.

"Pranam. Kahiye, aapki konsi samasya hai." the priest said and my eyes widened.
(Say, what is the difficulty you're stuck in.)

"Aapko kaise pata chala ki ham musibat ma hai?!" I exclaimed.
(How do you know that we're in a problem?)

"Aapka mukh hi bata raha hai aap kitne chintit hai." priest said with a chuckle.
(Your face right now is showing that you're in some trouble.)

I just smiled awkwardly.

"Mera naam Abhimanyu Singh hai aur me Singh haveli ke malik ka pota hu. Aur yeh hai shivangi, meri mangetar." I said.
(I'm Abhimanyu Singh and I'm the grandchild of the owner of the Singh haveli. And the lady here is Shivangi, my fiancee.)

Just as I finished my sentence, all the peace from the priest's face drained away. Before I could say something, the priest interrupted me and said,

"Haveli me kuch hua hai?" the priest asked and I nodded.
(Something happened in haveli?)

He then asked me about the problem and I narrated the whole story, from the very start to last night's incident. And not to mention his reaction was the same as ours.

"Kaun hai woh ladki jiski app baat kar rahe hai?" the priest asked and I pointed towards kaaya who was busy chatting with aanya and rivansh.
(Who's the girl you're talking about?)

"Aap yahi rukiye, me abhi aata hu." the priest said and went somewhere, leaving me and shivangi to wander in confusion.
(You both stay here, I'll be back in a minute.)

After 5 minutes, the priest came back with something in his hand. He first placed that thing near the feet of Hanumanji's idol, chanted some mantras and brought that thing to us.

"Yahake kalave bohot pavitra mane jaate hai. Mai aap dono ko yeh kalave pehna raha hu, aap saare bachcho ko pehna dijiyega. Aur rahi baat aapki musibat ki to is kalave ki ek khas baat hai, agar kisi bhi bache par buri shakti ka asar hoga, toh dhai ghante ke baad, yeh kalave apne aap haath par se khulkar gir jaenge." the priest said and tied the kalava on my and shivangi's wrist.

(The kalava given here are very auspicious. I'll tie it on your wrist and you do the same to the students. And about your problem, the solution is easy, if any of the students is in evil influence, the kalava will automatically fall on the ground from the wrist after 2.5 hours.)

"Bohot bohot shukriya panditji." I said folding my hands.
(Thank you very much.)

"Dhanyavad ki zarurat nahi hai lekin ek baat yaad rakhna, jaise hi kisi ke haath par yeh dhaga na dikhe, turant mandir chale aana aur yaad rakhna ki mandir tum sandhya kaal se pehle hi aa jao." the priest said and left.

(No need to thank me. But remember, when you see someone's kalava not on their wrist, the first thing you'll do is visit me, and that too before the sun goes down.)

I went outside the temple, gathered everyone and tied the kalavas on their wrists.

"Now where are we going?" kartik asked.

"Firstly we'll grab lunch from the most famous dhaba in my village then we'll visit the war museum and art museum." I said while moving towards the van.
