Aanya's POV

The entrance of the haveli started with a corridor which led to a enourmous and beautiful seating area. It felt like we're back in 70's era.

The corridor

''My phone's storage will be full if I just click the interiors pictures.'' keya said observing each and every details of the walls and pillars.

''It's already full from your own photos.'' Dhyey said making us laugh.

''Where is sir btw?'' kaaya said looking for sir.

''He was just behind me when we entered.'' kartik added.

''There is he.'' rishabh pointed in a corner.

Sir was staring at a particular portrait on the wall.

We all went towards him and saw him looking at a portrait of a middle aged warrior looking man.

''Sir, who is he?'' pakhi asked sir.

''Dhirendra Singh''

Abhi's POV

Someone said from behind, and we turned to see that it was ramesh kaka.

''He's my great grandfather.'' I completed the line.

''How come we don't have any photos of him in our house?'' I said to myself.

''Tam log thake honge jaake pehle aaram kar lo, me tam logo ke vaaste khana taiyaar karvata hu.'' ramesh kaka said.
(You guys must be tired. Rest for a while, I'll have someone to prepare your dinner.)

''Yeah, choose whichever room you want. Girls in the right corridor and boys opposite to it in left corridor, and on the first floor only, okay.'' I instructed them and they retired to select their rooms.

''So.....which is my room?'' shivangi asked me.

''My?'' I asked her back.

''Yeah. You don't want me sleep in the living room, or do you?'' shivangi said.

''Obviously not. I was just saying that you should ask about 'our room' not 'my room'.'' I said smirking, and by god's swear her reactions are damn cute.

''We -we're gonna stay in same room.?'' shivangi asked stuttering and I nodded in yes, trying to stop myself from laughing.

''Okay. Let's go then.'' she said trying to look confident.

And that was it, I couldn't control my laugh. I laughed wholeheartedly after a long time. My eyes got teary from laughing.

''Comm'on abhi stop this now.'' shivangi said a little bit of strict tone.

''Okay okay, sorry for that. Let me ask again. Would you be comfortable to stay in same room with me?'' I asked, hoping her to say yes.

''Okay, I'll stay. Eventually after marriage we're going to stay in the same room, so why not start today only.'' She said which made me relax, that she's trusting herself with me.
