Today is game day and I still unfortunately am not able to play but i'm not worried because were going against the mystics and they haven't had the greatest start to the season. I've now been able to upgrade to just a wrap because according to my doctor my bones have been healing faster than it's supposed to so that's a plus. Hopefully i'll be on the court in the next 6 or less weeks depending on how fast my healing process goes.
I was just getting finished getting dressed but I was struggling to put on my other shoe over my wrap. "Baby!" I called out to y/n "yassss!" she yelled back to me in a sassy voice. "Can you come here please I need some help" I said with labored breaths from my struggle to put on my shoe. "Here I come ma love" she said in a goofy voice making me chuckle. She walked into my room and got down on her knees loosening the laces on my shoes easily sliding it on my foot.
I stood there shocked as I watched her put my shoe on with no struggle while I sat there breathing hard and sweating for 5 minutes. "Just like that...." I said astonished, "just like that ma" she said smiling and placing a kiss on my cheek. "Now come on so we can get to the arena" she said pulling me up as we left out of my apartment building.

"Watch the gutter Moe!" I yelled as I watched a player from the other team to try and cut to the basket. Moe quickly stopped them from cutting forcing them to go back out to the perimeter. Their pg quickly shot the ball as she noticed the shot clock was winding down but due to her shorter height over Hayley she easily got blocked. Coach wasn't the happiest with that shot but it went in pushing our lead 86-61. I stood up clapping cheering the team on because they were playing one hell of a game right now. The clock went on slowly draining as the game soon came to a close with the score being 98-75. "Good job rookie" I said smiling and giving Hayley a hug. "Thank you I had to tap into my inner Rhy" she said as we both laughed at her joke. "Well you tapped in really well" I complimented her.
I looked around trying to find where y/n was, and I found her talking with her little brother Von. I walked over to them catching Von's attention first. "Oh hey whats good Rhyne" he said greeting me giving me a side hug. "Hey Devon what ya'll two over here talking about?" I asked leaning on y/n. "Uhh none just asking what he's been doing at home since i'm coming back tonight" y/n said quickly making me nod.
"Mhmmm alright well i'ma go to the locker room real quick but i'll be right back out" I said turning to her. "Ight i'll probably still be out here then ma" she said giving me a hug and a quick peck. I waved to them goodbye and walked back to the locker room.

I watched as she walked back into the tunnel making sure she was out of ear shot. "Anyways back to you why tf is she hear bruh?" I whispered yelled to my brother. "Listen twin I told her not to come because you moved on and weren't worried about her but you know her crazy ass is persistent and she followed me in my Uber here" he explained to me making me sigh heavily. I pinched the bridge of my nose so irritated by her showing up to my place of work.
