Chapter 8: Hidden Not A Secret

Y/n Pov 

"Guess it's time that I officially claim you as mine then huh?" I asked connecting eye contact with her. "I guess it is, it's been a long time coming" she said rubbing the pad of her thumb across my face. I cleared my throat and said... "Rhyne Howard will you-" I got cut off by her interrupting me. "Before you ask, no" she said bluntly leaving my mouth slightly parted at a loss for words. Her saying no so harshly kind of broke my heart, not even kind of it did. "Just let me ask you something really quick..." she said slowly readjusting herself. 

She cleared her throat and said "Y/n Y/ln will you do ME the great honor and be my official girlfriend?" she asked softly making my eyes light up. I let out a puff of air out that I didn't know I was holding in along with a lone tear rolling down my face. "Y-you for real ma" I stammered out trying to control my emotions. She laughed softly, "of course I am baby please don't cry" she said cutely patting under my eye. "Rhyne I would not... choose anything else than to be your girlfriend" I teased making her smile. She cradled my face gently and pulled me in for a soft kiss. I wrapped my hand around her neck softly gripping it, trying to deepen the kiss.

I turned my head to the side pulling her in closer to me making her moan. I pulled her jaw down with my thumb slipping my tongue into her mouth. I explored her mouth with my tongue while gliding my hands higher and higher up her thigh. "Mmm" she moaned out lowly sending a shiver through my body. We continued to make out until air started to become a problem for us. We reluctantly pulled away with a couple pecks not wanting the moment to end. I opened my eyes and seen her already staring at me with this look of not lust but love in a sort of way with lots of admiration. 

She folded under my glare and rolled over onto her side covering her face, and kicking her feet with a little screech. I busted out laughing as I watched her actions. "Bro why are you geeked right now ma?" I asked still laughing. "Cuz you just too damn fine and now your my girlfriend AND that was such a sexy ass make out" she said blushing. "Aww not Rhyne black girl blushinnn" I said with a accent. "Stawpppp I can't help it" she said covering her face and rolling over on her side so I couldn't see her. "It's okay mama c'mere" I said smiling with my arms out. She crawled into my lap, straddling my lap and hiding her face in the crook of neck. 

I wrapped my arms securely around her waist as I felt her slip her hands under my shirt tracing shapes on my toned stomach. "Do you need me to drive you home mama" I asked quietly breaking the comfortable silence. "Mm mm I brought me a bag to stay the night" she muffledly said into my neck. "Now what if I said you couldn't be able to stay the night?" I asked looking down at her. She removed herself from my neck and sat up. "Even if you said I couldn't you would still let me stay the night cause either way your still gonna want me here with you" she said shrugging. I guess she was right about that cause we both equally crave each others touch 24/7, her more then me sometimes. 

"You right can't even argue with you" I said in agreement with her. She yawned stretching as she looked at her phone checking the time. "Mk i'ma get ready for bed i'll be right back baby" she said pecking my lips and getting up going to get her bag that I assume was downstairs. I waited patiently in my bed scrolling through tik tok to pass time until she comes back. "I forgot my toothpaste at home so I had to use yours, and I must say I might have to take it home with me" she said making me shake my head. "I have extra's ma i'll just give you one before you leave" I said making her smile. "Thank you baby your so appreciated" she said kissing my cheek. "Mhmm whatever c'mon I'm ready to go to sleep" I said sleepily. 

"I wanna hold you tonight c'mere" she said making grabby hand motions towards me. I scooted over and laid my head on her chest, listening to her steady heartbeat. She started rubbing her hand through my hair making me hum in content. "Goodnight baby" she said softly, "goodnight mama" I responded back lowly. She lifted my head up and kissed my lips before slowly drifting off to sleep.
