Jasmin was sitting on a bench outside in the park reading a new book. It was so captivating that she hardly noticed the world around her. How several people with dogs strolled past her, little children happily lapped up her ice cream, birds hopped around on the bench right next to her or the sun alternately hid behind clouds. A book full of highs, lows and emotions. There were chapters that were so beautifully written that she read them several times. Others were so sad that she had to cry hard every time. Hobie was worried a few times when she came out of the room after hours and her face was completely red and wet. She also left these marks on the book. Tears fell on those very pages, where water stains are now visible. Even though she always tried to preserve every book as well as possible, she didn't succeed very well with this book. But it showed how well it was written and how much she was carried away by it. In fact, she now noticed her mobile phone vibrating. But maybe it was just because her body secretly knew that the message was from Hobie and became more alert. Jasmin put her book aside and opened the message.

A smile spread across her face as she read the message from Hobie. A warm feeling spread through her heart and slowly, but increasingly, crept through her body. She liked the idea very much and was strangely moved by the news. She stared at the screen, smiling, while her eyes filled slightly with tears of joy.
After a while, she answered back and then placed the mobile phone next to her on the bench. She leant back and looked up at the sky, lost in thought. Sometimes she couldn't really believe that this was her life. Of course, it also had its downsides when it came to the whole Miguel drama. But she was actually very happy. She wanted for nothing. She had her friends: Gwen, Miles, Pavitr. And her boyfriend: Hobie. Okay, maybe she did miss her parents, whom she hadn't seen for a long time. She missed them terribly, especially when she thought about them. But still, she was basically fine. She was safe and surrounded by people who loved her. Just the way she is. Because that's how perfect she is.
After a while she decided to go back home. The weather was quite hot and from time to time the sun is getting quite exhausting. She packs her things and leaves the park to head home to Hobie's apartment.
