"That really sucks. And she really said that?" Pavitr sat on a chair and tilted, the backrest touching the desk behind him.
Bored, he kept throwing a ball against the wall in front of him.
"Yes, that's what she said," Gwen replied, annoyed.
Almost as if she had already told him the story a hundred times.
Pavitr, Gwen, Miles and Hobie sat bored in the lobby at HQ.
Jasmin was at Hobie's house, passing her time by reading and drawing.
It was her favourite thing to do lately.
It still wasn't safe for her to return to HQ, apart from the fact that Miguel still didn't want her back as a member.
It was now 3 pm.
They had been waiting since 1 p.m. to finally be allowed into the meeting room, as Miguel had ordered.
Because today there was an announcement for all Spider-Man's.
The training programme has been rewritten, with new and more strenuous exercises that specifically train certain situations.
Faster, more agile and more effective was the new goal.
This is actually the case almost every year.
But this time it's supposed to be different.
At least those were Miguel's big words.

"How much longer are we supposed to wait?" moaned Miles, pacing impatiently back and forth in the lobby.
Gwen's gaze followed his every move.
After a while, she travelled her eyes, which had grown tired by now.
She sat cross-legged on an armchair in the corner of the lobby.
Only the ticking of the clock could be heard. Apart from the thuds of Pavitr's ball.
"Another couple of hundred years," Hobie said in a serene voice to lighten the mood.
Miles, who was anything but relaxed, stopped and scowled at Hobie, who was sitting on the back of the couch.
But Hobie also seemed to be annoyed by the endless waiting.
He tried not to show it too much, though.

After 10 more minutes of silence, Pavitr broke the silence.
"Why haven't you turned up to training the last few times, Hobie?"
All eyes turned to him.
"We've missed you."
"Didn't need to," he grinned mischievously, closing his eyes.
(He was only joking, of course).
The images in his head couldn't be seen by the others, of course, but they clearly showed why he didn't have one.
"Haha," Miles said dryly and sat down on the couch near Hobie.
"Seriously now. What have you been up to all this time?"
He eyed Hobie sharply and even though his eyes were closed, he could feel Miles' gaze boring through his skin.
Sighing, Hobie sat up so that his feet were now on the sofa.
"I spent the time with Jasmin, what else."
"All this time?" Pavitr asked in astonishment. "Don't you ever get on each other's nerves or something?" Hobie laughed a little.

"Every now and then, but not as often as you might think. Jasmin is different. With her, everything is... so easy," Hobie replied in his thoughts.
He thought about his girlfriend and all the wonderful moments he had experienced with her recently.
Especially the moments when he should have been training.
But he had used them differently.
Used them better, in his opinion.
He smiled at the thought.

"I see," Gwen suddenly said, as if she knew what Hobie had been thinking about.
And she wasn't wrong...
"What?" Hobie grinned and looked at her.
"Sex doesn't count," she replied as if it were the most normal thing in the world.
Hobie laughed mischievously and looked down, while Miles and Pavitr looked round at her in shock.
This comment was so unexpected that it almost knocked Pavitr off his chair.
But Gwen hit the bull's eye...
"Why not?" Hobie asked the counter-question. "It makes you sweat. So it's just like sport."
The mischievous smile didn't disappear from his face.
The images played in his head like a film.
Jasmin lying so beautifully and helplessly in front of him, the moaning, the clothes scattered around the room...Moments that he would like to experience again and again.
With her.
And only with her.

He felt his pulse suddenly increase, but at the same moment Gwen tore him from his thoughts.
"Maybe, but you shouldn't miss training with us. After all, you're still a Spider-Man and we need your help. I doubt you'll learn how to defeat enemies in bed," Gwen rolled her eyes.
"No, I'm not learning that. But Jasmin knows how to defeat me," Hobie grinned at her.
He loved playing word games like that.
"You should try that too. There are plenty of interested parties," he added as he glanced briefly at Miles.
He didn't miss the look, which is why he stared back at Hobie with a red and shocked face.
Gwen also blushed slightly at this comment and dropped back into her chair.
There was no point in arguing with Hobie any further, he would make a joke out of every comment.
That's Hobie for you.
Shortly afterwards, Hobie came up with an idea and pulled out his cell phone.
He quickly typed a message and sent it.
To none other than his girlfriend.
"I'll come to training regularly again," Hobie said and jumped off the sofa. „I promise."
Gwen grinned at him.
Suddenly a voice came through the speakers: "All Spider-Man's and the meeting room, please. There is now the ordered announcement."
"Finally," Pavitr and Miles shouted at the same time and jumped up directly.
Pavitr's chair rumbled on the floor and ran atrophied lying there, while the ball slowly rolled to the next flower pot.
By now it was 3.30pm and they both ran frantically to the hall without waiting for Hobie and Gwen.
As Gwen and Hobie set off, she held him briefly by the shoulder and stopped him from walking.
"If you come to training regularly now, you'll have more stamina to do it with Jasmin for longer," she whispered with a treacherous smile. Hobie stood rooted to the spot and was shocked by this comment.
Gwen turned round with a grin and left him alone.
It took him a while to realise what she was saying and then he started to smile.
The comment was a good one, but it was good. Very good, in fact.
Maybe he should take that as new motivation, he thought to himself and continued walking.
At least this motivation would last.
