(Start the song „shelter" by machineheart)

Jasmin looked up and stared directly at Prowler Miles, who held his hand out to her.He was the last person she wanted to see and could use his help right now.
"Get out of here and leave me alone," she hissed at him and tried to stand up.
But her legs were so shaky that she could barely keep her balance.
He gave a short laugh.
"I know we don't have the best history. But there's no way you're going to survive on your own in your current state," he replied calmly.
He was unusually calm and unusually kind.
Jasmin's mind was racing and she felt herself threatening to fall back into the deep hole.
"I don't care about that. I've survived many things without your help. I'll survive this too," she said confidently, avoiding his gaze.Prowler exhaled in annoyance.
"Listen, I can help you. I know you won't trust me, but please... just this once."
"No, do I have to remind you what you did to me first? Why are you even here?"
"I was curious," he replied monotonously and shrugged his shoulders. Of course he was curious. He lived everything where the world was going to ruin.Jasmin tried to stand up, her body feeling like jelly. She stood up shakily and tried to keep her balance."I don't need your help", she murmured and took a step forward. She lost her balance because her feet could no longer support her. Before she hit the ground, she felt an arm catch her.Prowler had saved her from falling. Her arm was around her hips. Her eyes were wide."You need my help", he said, becoming calmer and with his safe behaviour. She wanted to say something about the fact that she knew it was hopeless. As much as she didn't want to admit it to herself, she actually needed help.
She gave up and nodded in agreement. She would go with him.

"I know a place where we can hide." He supported her all the way there.
The destruction of her world burned in her brain. She couldn't stop thinking about it.
This is all my fault. She felt the energy leaving her body, getting weaker and weaker with every step.
I didn't want this to happen just for her.
Excuse me?" Prowler asked.Jasmin looked at Seiden with tear-filled eyes.
"I didn't want this to happen. I didn't want this to happen. I was just saving my uncle. I didn't know that my universe could be destroyed by this.
"Prowler did not answer. He just looked at her with a suffering look. Jasmin sighed. At that moment, she wished for nothing more than to have Hobby by her side. She deeply regretted the fact that she was here in Prowler's arms. She felt bad. She felt like she was betraying Hobby.
You're a bad friend
The voices in her head grew louder and louder. They wouldn't leave her alone.
You're a disgrace and a danger to everyone.
Tears rolled down her face. At that moment, she wished nothing more than that she wasn't here. As if none of this had ever happened.

A good 15 minutes later, they arrived at a remote house that still seemed to be reasonably intact. "We're here," said Prowler and opened the door. It was a heavy brass door. It took them a lot of strength to open it and it creaked as they did so.When they got inside, there was hardly any light. It was an empty and bare place. Jasmin looked around. There was hardly any furniture. A desk and a chair stood abandoned in a corner next to the window. The window panes were so steamed up and full of dirt that hardly any light shone through. The chandelier hanging from a ceiling lay smashed on the floor. A couch, which was ripped and torn, stood next to a cupboard that was locked. "It's not a five-star hotel", Prowler said, sitting down on the couch. "But at least we're safe here."Safe? Where are we safe here?

You're never safe from the destruction of the planet. In no place.

"Sit down", he says to her. Cautiously and skeptically, she sat down on the chair at the desk. She tried to keep as much distance as possible between him and her. "Would you like a drink?", He asked. "You're probably pretty exhausted after all this."He got up and walked over to the cupboard. He opened it just a small crack so that only he could see inside.

Jasmine was puzzled. Why was he being so nice to her? He was never that nice, it's not like him. Be on your guardShe tried to be careful, but it robbed her of the last of her strength. She thought that when she was back on her planet, things would be better for you. But somehow things got worse. She gradually had the feeling that all life was disappearing. She would be nothing more than a shell, without life, without consciousness, without feelings.Drink here. He tore her from her thoughts. Or rather, from the thoughts she couldn't control. He stood right in front of her and held the bottle of water out to her. She hesitantly took the bottle of water."Don't worry, I won't poison you", said Prowler when he noticed her hesitation."I have no idea what you're up to", she replied, taking a tiny sip."Like I told you before. I'm going to help you."He slumped down on the couch.

"That's not like you", she replied. You wouldn't help anyone, especially not me.

There was a brief silence.
"People can change, have you ever heard of that", he replied snappishly.
Its gaze darkened, but it immediately subsided when it realized this.
„But not you", she mumbled quietly to herself so that only she could hear.
She didn't trust him, but at the moment he seemed to be her last hope and her only one.
