(Start the song „The most beautiful boy" by The irrepressibles)
It was the middle of the night and Jasmin woke up in a panic.
She was sitting bolt upright in her bed, sweat running down her body.
Her forehead was wet, her heart was beating unusually fast and her whole body was trembling. She clutched her hand to her chest and clutched her nightgown.
It felt as if she couldn't breathe.
She gasped for it, but it seemed like no more than a few short breaths were getting into her body.
She looked around.
She was still in Hobie's bedroom.
But her vision was blurred.
She felt restless and felt like she couldn't speak.
Jasmin felt cramped here.
She had to get out, out of this room.
Without paying attention to Hobie, who was lying next to her in bed, she threw the covers aside and hurried through the door into the kitchen.
She clung to the worktop and tried to take deep breaths.
Her head hurt like hell.
She could no longer think straight.
Everything seemed to be spinning around her and her head was in chaos.
It's your fault!
This is all your fault, said a voice deep inside her.
She clutched her head and frantically tried to think of something else.
But the harder she tried, the worse it seemed to get.
"No!..." she whimpered shakily.
Her hands were barely steady.
Panic spread through her like a purgatory.
"I can't do this. I didn't do this..."
She didn't even realize what she was saying.
She was nothing but fear and panic.
She was nothing but pure emotion.
She no longer had any control over herself, her thoughts or her body. She felt along the cupboard with her fingers and took out a glass to drink from.
But her hands were shaking so badly that she couldn't hold the glass and it shattered into a thousand pieces on the floor.
Startled, she cried out and saw the shards lying on the floor.
She began to cry.
It was all too much.Suddenly the bedroom door opened abruptly and Hobie stormed into the kitchen.
"What's happened? I heard something fall," were his first words to Jasmin.
He was worried.
His girlfriend just looked at him.
His eyes were already red from crying and his heart dropped ten stories.
Without thinking about it, he rushed over to her and hugged her as tightly as he could.
Jasmin huddled in his arms and began to sob.
More and more tears rolled down her cheeks, and for a moment Hobie thought the world was coming to an end.
He didn't realize what news he would receive that very morning.
It took him some time to get his thoughts straight and his girlfriend tried to reassure him.
"It's all okay. I'm here, my dear. Whatever's going on, I'll be there. I won't leave your side."
First stroked her back gently, but noticed from her posture that nothing was okay.
"No, nothing is okay!" she pleaded in the shakiest voice he had ever heard.
His blood ran cold and his face went pale.He had never seen Jasmin so upset and panicked.
What had happened to her?
"I'm losing my grip on reality. It's all falling apart. And I can't stop it!"
She was upset and pulled away from his arms. Once again, she felt like she couldn't breathe.
He looked at her worriedly.
Hobie looked at the broken glass on the floor.
He had never experienced a night that wore him down like this one.
"Jasmin, just breathe," he tried to calm her down but hopelessly.
"No, no. I can't Hobie! I can't...I'm...no...my heart..." she stammered confusedly and paced frantically up and down the kitchen.
He didn't know what to do.
He felt like he was in a horror movie and hoped that she would wake up at any moment.
He hoped he was still dreaming and lying in his bed and it was nothing more than a nightmare. But his conscious mind knew full well that this was no dream.
None of this was my dream. It was reality.
"Please calm down. I'm here..." he tried to reassure her, 'I'm Hobby, your friend.'
Her eyes were red, her face was pale and her legs were trembling.
Jasmin felt miserable.
It felt as if her insides were bursting.
Being pulled into a deep, black hole.
Something was tugging at her.
Something seemed to be breaking inside her.
She just didn't know what it was or where it was coming from.
Panicked, she looked around, tussled her hair and back.
Again and again at her nightgown.
I don't want to drown.
I don't want to suffocate.
"God, Jasmin, what's wrong? You're scaring me!" Hobie could barely keep his emotions under control.
He knew he wasn't much help to her and he had to calm her down, but it was harder than he thought.
"I don't want this...no...it's breaking...breaking..."
Her thoughts were racing.
Voices were getting louder and louder.
All she wanted was clarity.
She just wanted peace.
She ran through the kitchen again, started screaming slightly and suddenly fell silent.
She looked at Hobie as if she had seen a ghost.
For a moment, he thought everything alive had gone out of her.
It was a horror movie he was in, and he hoped Jasmin and he would ever wake up from it.She looked at him, startled. It was like a flash of inspiration that suddenly appeared. It promised something ominous...
Her world was collapsing...
There was silence for a moment and they just looked at each other.
Then, slowly but steadily, tears ran down Jasmin's cheek.
Hobie felt the panic lessen.
He ran up to her and took her in his arms.
He gently stroked her head and back.
She felt his touch and it calmed her immediately.
Hobie's closeness did her good.
He was her support, her protection, her strength.
His presence was what she needed.
It was what her body needed.
Her soul.
He could feel her becoming calmer and calmer in his arms.
She leaned against his chest and hugged him tightly.
Her fingers clutched at his back.
"It's all right, my love. I'm here for you. You don't need to worry. Whatever just happened, we'll figure it out. Together!" he assured her gently and kissed her on the head.
His kind words filled her cold heart with warmth.
But unfortunately, she had to worry.
She couldn't avoid it.
At that very moment, she made a decision...
"Let's go back to bed. Everything will be fine..."Nothing will be fine...
