Ch 30

| Stephanie's POV |
It was Monday, 3:45 in the morning and we were getting ready for our flight to Los Angeles.
"Matt can you get Mason dressed? I'll wake up Marissa." I said.
"Yea." he agreed and went into the kids room.
"Hey Cam, where exactly is it where we'll be staying?" I asked.
"Chino Hills." He said.
"Ok." I nodded.
I made sure I had all the passports and paperwork that will be needed when we go to check in for the flight.
"Matt are you going to take your I.D in your wallet or do you want me to put it with your passport?!" I asked.
"I'll take it with me." He said.
After I was done packing, I went to go wake up Marissa, but she was already awake.
"Hi baby girl!" I said in a whisper.
She smiled.
"Dada! Dada!" She said.
"You're dad is getting your brother ready! Come on! Let's see who will win at getting ready first!" I said licking her up and putting her on her changing table.
I put on her onesie and her little Cam Dallas hoodie.
"The princess is ready!" I said so the guys could hear me.
"The prince has barely awoken!" Matt said laughing.
"Ok guys we need to go! The and leaves in two hours!" Cameron said.
"Ok! So Matt take the diaper bag and I'll take the kids! Cameron get the car seats!" I said going out to the car and turning it on.
When did she become our mother?" Cameron asked Matt.
"I heard that!" I said putting the babies in their car seat.
"Ok let me go get my suitcases." I said and went in and grabbed my bags and headed to the car and put them in the trunk.
I got in the backseat with the kids and we headed for the airport.
"Yass!! Finally! I'm getting out of Virginia!" I said.
"Dada! Dada!" Marissa said.
"You want your daddy to hug you?" I asked her.
"Dada! Dada!" She said.
"Wait till we get to the airport." Matt said.
I looked over at Mason and he was passed out.
After a while, we finally reached the airport.
After checking in, we went upstairs to where the gates were. I bought a coffee while the guys waited outside the gate.
As I was waiting for my coffee, a guy was waiting next to me. I looked over to him and smiled.
"Where you headed?" He asked.
"Los Angeles. And you?" I asked.
"Same. I'm on flight 240. It's gate number 3." he said.
"Oh really that's the same one were in!" I said.
"Wow. What's your name?" He asked
"I'm Stephanie!" I said holding out my hand.
"I'm Jake!" He said taking it.
"Are you traveling alone?" He asked.
"No I'm with my boyfriend Matthew, my brother Cameron, and my two kids!" I said pointing to them.
"Oh wow! You have two kids?" He asked.
"Yea! They're twins. The girl is Marissa and the boy is Mason. How about you? Are you traveling alone?" I asked.
"Yea! I'm going over to move in to be with my sister. She's been having a hard time since our parents died." He said looking down.
"I'm so sorry! Where exactly are you going?" I asked.
"Chino Hills." He said.
"Wow. This is so weird! So are we!" I said laughing.
"Must be fate bringing us together!" He said taking my hand.
"I wouldn't call it fate yet.." I said taking my hand away.
"Iced coffee for Stephanie!" I heard the lady behind the counter say.
"I'll see you around!" I said to him.
"Hey wait! Um.. I hope this doesn't sound to clingy.. But I was wondering if I can get your number? It's fine if you don't want to." He said.
"Umm.. I don't know.." I said unsure.
"It's fine! I totally understand." He said.
"No you know what! Who's cares! Let me see your phone." I said.
He gave me his phone and I put in my number.
"There! I'll see you on the flight
or in Los Angeles!" I said.
"What seat are you sitting on?" He asked.
"I'm on first class, 3C." I said.
"Wow I'm 3A!" He said.
"My daughter is 3B!" I said.
"Ok well I'll see you on the plane!" He said and I walked away
When I reached where they were sitting Matt gave me a weird look.
"What's wrong?" I asked.
"Who was that guy?" He asked.
"Just someone who introduced themselves to me." I said.
"I saw they way you two talked. What the fuck was that!" He said gripping onto my arm.
"Ok Matt! Not here." I said.
"Then where?! On the plane?! Where he could be sitting next to you and flirting with you!" He said.
"Calm down you're going to wake up Marissa." I said.
"Oh yea I wouldn't want her to wake up and see her mother with a different guy!" He said.
"Stop acting like a child!" I said grabbing Mason.
"I'm acting like a child?! You're the one talking to other guys!" He said.
"Oh my god! Just stop! Ok not here!" I said and walked towards Cameron.
"Walk away! Just like every fucking time." He said.
"What the hell happened?!" Cameron asked.
"He's being a little bitch!" I said looking at him.
"Oh please! You're being a slut!" He said.
"Shut the fuck up! Don't talk to her like that!" Cameron said.
"She was flirting with some guy at that coffee shop!" He said.
"We were just talking!" I said.
"I don't want to deal with this right now! Save the crap!" Cameron said.
When they stared calling seats, I got up and grabbed Marissa and gave Mason to Matt.
When we got inside the plane, I saw Jake sitting my the window seat already.
"Hey!" He said when he noticed me.
"Hi!" I said.
He saw that I was struggling and got up to help me put my carry-on, on top.
"I got it! You can sit back down!" Matt said behind me.
Jake just backed away and went to sit down.
"Great now he gets to sit by you also!" He said.
"Cut the crap Matt!" I said.
I sat down and put Marissa in the middle.
She looked up at Jake.
"Dada! Dada!" She said.
I just sat there awkwardly. He laughed nervously.
"That was weird!" He said turning red.
"It's fine. She's does that all the time." I said.
That was a lie. She's never done that. Not with any other guy except Matt.

I heard Marissa saying something and I looked over to hear better.
"Dada! Dada!" She said to the guy that is sitting next to her which is the guy that was flirting with Stephanie.
It broke my heart when she did that. She's never done that with anyone before! It just broke my heart to hear her call someone else her dad.
