Giyu POV:

The holiday season has begun but I'm not feeling as festive as usual. It just feels tiring, getting presents for people then decorating and making food, it's just a bit much right now.

But, I always enjoyed decorating a grand Christmas tree with nee-san, I just have to do it alone now.

I climbed out of bed, changing into my marine blue uniform. I haven't trained in ages, my body may be stiff from my randomised sleep scheduled poor diet.

I walked through the Morden estate, filled with kakushi performing their daily tasks, lowering their heads as I walked by.

As I stepped out onto the empty training grounds, I felt a shift of tension in the air. A once suffocating environment turned into a silent, lifeless aroma.

Not even a whisper of wind whirled through the air as I took a relaxed exhale, observing my surroundings. I ran up to the dummies, wooden sword in hand, preparing myself for an intense training session.

After three hours of training, I found myself walking back to the wind estate, in too much of a daze too think. I just wanted to get back. I felt as if I was drunk. .

Was I going to faint? I felt like a zombie, as if I wasn't aware what I was doing, I was just.. doing. My drunken haze worsened as I got closer to the estate. Now I felt like I was simply watching from someone's perspective, out of someone else's eyes.

But they were my eyes. I Felt myself walk into the estate, into my bedroom and fall onto my bed, entering the infinite realm of my subconscious.

3rd Person POV:

The male opened his eyes to find himself in that familiar place. The good place with light, pure skies stretching out all around him, glistening onto the latter's skin. He stood up from his seated position, brushing off imaginary dirt and dust.

Confused, Giyu thought back before he fainted, unsure of the reason. All he remembered was that drunken daze, and training. Was it training? Had he gone weak?

Giyu always thought of himself as less than the other hashira, but not this weak. It reminded Tomioka of the fatigue he felt whilst he was being assaulted by Myhoria. Had he been drugged again?

He looked up to the borders of his imagination, to see them fade into that murky purple that filled him with dread. A darkness where he always saw his sister's husband, his parents, an evil version of the best friend he once had, and now, Myhoria.

Giyu walked feetger  into the depths of the darkness, so afraid to face the person who would be waiting for him, chewing him out for all his insecurities. He wouldn't wake up if he didn't.

A dark figure stood in the distance as Giyu gained onto them, back turned to the unconscious man. He kept pushing forward, confused. Usually he could tell who was in front of him by now, but it was a mix of the people he loved.

The figure had his fathers hair type, his mothers hair colour, Tsutako's haori on one side, Sabito's on the other.

They were similar height, and had one hand on their hip. Their stance was confident and bubbly, it didn't take much observation from behind to know that they were a joyful person.
