(We got our first 100 reads!!!) IM SO SORRY I DIPPED FOR THIS LONG, IM ALIVE AND STILL WRITTING

I stepped into the conference room, the atmosphere was thick with tension. While walking I heard lot's of chatter about what happened yesterday, seems like everyone else already heard the news more or less. I made my way to the front of the table taking my seat among my teammates. Despite our best efforts the mission left us with more questions than the little answers that we had.
Price stood at the front of the room "Alright quiet down, let's begin. Nobody knows what happened last night. We didn't find what we were looking for, and now we're back to square one. We need to figure out our next move, we'll start from scratch" Price continued, his tone firm and decisive. "This mission is far from over. We don't know when they will strike next, maybe they are even onto us."
I agree, the intel was very narrow and not worth moving on, we barely knew anything about what the group was up to now, the only information was gathered by me years ago and it wasn't even about the main thing. But we had to move in, we had no other intel than this, if he had stayed back we could've lost the track for god knows how long.
"Sova, care to give us a brief chat." said Price turning everyones attention onto me.
"The Black Scorpions, a notorious gang. At my time on this case they were stealing weapons from the army and smuggling them across the border while covering the crime with drug trades. As everyone already heard the intel indicated that they were using a trap house with security 24/7 nestled deep within the forest as a base of operations for their illicit activities. One mid-sized group was supposed to be there along with some sort of equipment or substances. Equipped with an arsenal of weapons ranging from AK-47s to HK416s and M4 carbines. After a long night of surveillance we didin't find anything. Not only did nobody was there but our radios were blocked too. As of now they are in the wind still, posing a significant threat not only to national security but also to the safety of civilians."
Gaz leaned forward, his brow furrowed. "We need more reliable intel. What about our contacts? Any chance we can get a more precise location on their operations?"
I nodded. "We have a few informants who might be able to give us more detailed information, but it will take time to track them down again, after all it's been a solid couple of years. The Black Scorpions after the false case closing became very cautious. I assume they've moved most of their operations underground, and their communication is heavily encrypted."
Soap interjected, "We also need to consider the possibility of a mole. Someone might be tipping them off about our moves."
Price's expression darkened. "That's a troubling thought, but we can't ignore it. We'll need to conduct internal checks to ensure our plans stay confidential and perhaps stay away from technologies for now."
Ghost, who had been silent until now, spoke up. "We should also look into their distribution channels. They're smuggling weapons and drugs. Who's their drug supplier, maybe there's multiple. Who is in on the other side, who are they smuggling to. After the case got 'closed' the already stolen and smuggled equipment never got retrieved."
Price nodded approvingly. "Good idea. We need to disrupt their supply lines, maybe send a undercover. Sova, gather whatever intel you can on their routes and contact the informants. Gaz, you and Soap will handle the internal security checks. Ghost, work on tracking their shipments. Rest of you will get assigned tasks after the security check is completed."
As we broke off to tackle our respective tasks, I couldn't shake the feeling of unease. The Black Scorpions were always one step ahead. We desperately needed a breakthrough, something that would give us the upper hand.
