We arrived back at Zion's apartment, neither of us saying a word the whole car ride here, we still hadn't said a word. I believed we were all in shock by what just happened. I know I definitely am.
"How the fuck did we walk out of there untouched?!" Zion questioned as he paced back and forth in his living room. "I was for sure preparing to meet my maker in my head." Tate said as she looked spaced out on the couch.
How we didn't get jumped out was a mystery. We left without a scratch, untouched, unharmed.
I couldn't wrap my head around the fact that he let us walk. Of course, on one hand, I was grateful but, on another hand, I was afraid of what could possibly come next. Was this really a clean break or was he planning to hit us again? "Yo, I don't know what the fuck that was..."
I just don't want to get stabbed again. "What do we do now?" Tate asked as she looked to Zion and I. I huffed out, I was annoyed and stressed. I grabbed my phone and made the call.
"Enzo, we're all in, can you get me my deal?"
"Friday, by the old railway, there's a few containers there, I'll meet you 6 a.m. Do not be late or everything is off the table and my bosses will tell Brock about the meeting."
"Got you. I'll see you then."
I hung up the call and turned back to my friends. "Friday, 6 am, thats when the drop is happening, we have until Saturday at 6 am to have all of their money ready and all of the product sold. We need to shake the shit that happened with Brock off. Our plan is going into motion, we need to be at our best. Take the next few days to get your heads screwed on right, watch your backs."
Zion and Tate nodded their heads. "Alright, I have to go square some things away but, I'll see y'all soon." I say as I hugged my best friends. "Hey, keep that on you, Brock and Hansen will take any shot they get." Zion pointed as I put my gun in my waistband. I nodded and headed out the door.

Shane sat there, across from his defense team, in the chambers with the judge. A smug look upon his face as the judge looked through his files. "Mr. Reece, what exactly are you here for?"
"Your honor, my client Mr. Shane Reece has been on his best behavior since he got locked up. He's remorseful of his actions and he was charged with the murder of Blair Reece, his children have been taken away from him, his parental rights signed over to the state, all he's asking for is a reduced sentence for a chance to reconnect with his children."
The judge sighs as he closes the file. "Shane, when's the last time you've been in contact with your children?"
"Truthfully, it's been a while. They've both been moved around a lot so it's hard to get ahold of them... my daughter, she's uh a bit difficult."
"Oh trust me, I know your daughter, she's a headache." The judge muttered as Shane let out a chuckle. "Look, I just want a chance to be with my kids, they'll be all grown up pretty soon and it's unfair to them that they have to grow up with no family-"
"Mr. Reece, you put them in that predicament-"
"And I regret it." Shane spoke quickly. The judge sighed before standing up. "I'll think on it. Have a great day gentlemen."

Today, I was working primarily away from my office. I had to drive around the city going to meet with multiple kids I have on file and it's been pretty draining. I was currently taking a lunch break and met up with my sister, Mary-Kate at a park.
