Y/n's POV

I shook hands with Derek as he took 4 packs from my stash and handed me a wad of cash. "Alright bro." I said as he smiled and got back into his car. I was finished selling everything I needed to and shortly after, I met up with Zion and Tate who were finished as well.

"Ain't no way we sold all of that already, I got people hitting me for more already!" Zion smiled as we walked into his apartment. It was time to start counting all of the money up.

"I cannot believe we just did this shit" Tate smiled as I started running the money through the money counter. I knew when we worked for Brock we pulled in a lot of money but, this, this I could get used to.

I divided the money into three bags and zipped them up so we would have them ready to go when we meet up with Enzo.

Part of me was proud of what the three of us accomplished today but, another part of me was worried about what could possibly come from what we're doing. I know, we had a clean break with Brock and the Reckless Outlaws however, part of me couldn't help but to think of what the clean break really meant.

I'm still on edge because there has never been a time, in all my years of running with Brock, I have never seen him let anyone walk untouched out of the Outlaws. I knew we were all on edge but, what can we do about it right now? Absolutely nothing.

I shook off the thoughts before dabbing up my friends. "You out?" Zion asked as he gave me a hug. "Yeah, I'm going to go talk to Manny and get some things ironed out and you know, I have to check in with Lizzie before she blows my phone up."

Zion smirked as he hugged me once more. "Who would've thought your day would finally come." he joked as I laughed and said my goodbyes to my friends.

.  .  .

"So, I want to make sure you and your business are as safe as possible and of course, you'll get taken care of as far as money is concerned. I even put the word out already that this could be a good spot for people to get food so you'll get more business so, laundering here won't seem suspicious."

Manny nodded as he looked over the tablet I had laid before him with all the information he needed. Since my friends and I are doing this business all on our own and trying to make ourselves successful, we need a place to front the money and clean it.

I also, can't hold a lot of money in the warehouse we're getting because, that's too easy to bust. I'm also going in on some investment opportunities with Zion and Tate, we're going to create a group which will add another avenue for our money to come in without being a complete drug business and as we get up and running.

We'll start getting our own runners and essentially, pursue other business avenues while really making a good portion of our money from the drug business but keeping our hands clean. Legal formalities are the first thing I wanted to make sure we would have taken care of.

I looked at my watch and wrapped up my conversation with Manny before thanking him and giving him a rack as a thank you. Getting back into my car, I hurried over to Lizzie's house since we have a meeting with Wayne and plans for a date night tonight.

I made it to her home not long after and she was currently tidying up the dining room. As soon as I came into view, a smile spread across her face and the butterflies in my stomach erupted at the sight of her.

"Hi, you." I spoke softly before wrapping my arms around her smaller body, taking in her scent as I briefly lifted her off the ground before placing her back down. Lizzie leans up and kisses my lips as her arms drape around my neck.

"I missed you." Lizzie muttered as we stayed in each others arms a few seconds more. I connected my lips to hers again before pulling away. "Wayne is going to be here in a few minutes, I put the food in the oven for when Chris, Alba, Scarlett, and Maya get here-"

"You've been busy." I smiled as I walked over to the kitchen, trying to sneak a peak at the food. Truthfully, I wanted to steal some since I was already hungry. "Don't you even think about touching anything" Lizzie warned as she pointed her finger at me.

"Could be touching you right now if you'd let me." I smirked. I walked back over to her, pulling her into me. "Y/n/n..." lizzie gasped out, quietly, as I left small kisses on her neck. "Babe, no-" she said softly as she pushed me back. "Come on, we have like 10 minutes before Wayne gets here, we could take the edge off-"

Just as Lizzie opened her mouth to speak, the sound of her doorbell rang throughout the house. I groaned, knowing given more time, Lizzie would've been naked on the couch.

"Fix this." Lizzie says as she gripped my semi-hard dick through my jeans. My eyes widened, she knows exactly what she's doing.

Lizzie walked over to the front door, allowing Wayne to come in as he gave her a hug. I turned around, towards the door after adjusting myself. Wayne's voice boomed through the hall by the front door as he came in with a manila folder in his hand.

We all took a seat at the dining room table as Wayne smiled at me. "So, with your birthday coming up, I thought it would be good to get all of the paperwork out of the way and talk about some stuff."

And here comes a lecture.

"You're almost at the finish line in terms of getting out of the system but, I shouldn't have to remind you that anything you do now is being heavily watched, your friends, everything. I know you're set on trying to get Kyler back but, you need to build up people's trust. No more run ins with the police, no more drugs, no more dealing, no more gang life-"

"Well you'll be happy to know I'm no longer part of the Outlaws." Lizzie turns to me wide eyed in shock. "WHAT?!" They exclaimed at the same time. "I left- I told you I'm serious about getting Kyler."

"And you're not dead?!" Lizzie asks as she looks me up and down. "He let me go." I shrugged. I didn't want to show them I was worried about that because that would've started a whole other conversation and I don't need them looking into things any deeper.

"And how are things going with Maloley?" Wayne asks. "Good, I stay out of his way, he stays out of mine-"

"Do you feel comfortable there?"

"Yep." I lied, I can't tell him where I really stay most of the time. Maloley and I's agreement is working as well as expected.

"Okay well, things from you on my end are all good, just fill out the highlighted sections on these papers and I'll start putting them into the courts. You also need to get a job, a real one, as soon as possible so you look like you're trying to get on your feet. It'll help with Kyler's case."

"I'll be starting back with Manny soon."

Lizzie and Wayne raised their eyebrows at me. "Truthfully."

"Okay well, that'll be good." Wayne says as he nods and writes that down in his notebook.

"Any word on my dad?"

"No but, don't worry about him, keep yourself focused on getting your shit together. Don't get dragged into that mess." Wayne warned and I nodded.

I knew better than to get wrapped up with my father but, I was still in disbelief about him even attempting to get his sentence reduced. It made my blood boil.

Wayne carried on discussing some other stuff with Lizzie and I before ultimately heading out and congratulating me for making it this far and staying out of trouble. It felt good to hear Wayne was proud of me. He's basically been my only father figure since I lost my parents.

Lizzie and I tidied up once more before her friends began to arrive for our little date night.
