The two sisters were at Miss Patty's with their escorts. They were dancing, trying to learn the moves.

"Keep counting in your heads!" Patty said. "Look each other in the eye. Dean, are you leading?"

"I have no idea." Dean answered.

"Okay, okay, stop, stop, stop!" Patty said, turning off the music. "Now, remember! One of the most important things in ballroom dancing is to remember to spot. Otherwise, you're gonna get dizzy. So, what you want to do is pick out something to focus on. I usually like to find a lonely seaman." she laughed. "Then when turning, whip your head around and find your spot again. Hello, sailor! Hello, sailor! Hello, sailor!" she said, turning around three times. "Now, you try!"

Dean looked at Rory and sighed.

"You've got to be kidding me."

"I think you can do it without the 'Hello, sailor!' " she said, trying to make him feel better.

"Rory!"

" 'Battlebots.' "

"For the rest of your life."  he told her.

"Now, take it from the top." Patty said, turning on the music.

They were all trying to dance. Jess was leading Y/N looking at her, but she wasn't even glancing at him. She was staring at one point, without taking her eyes off. Jess looked where she was staring, only to find a picture of Miss Patty and few other ladies.

"Interested in that?" he asked.

"What?" Y/N asked.

"That picture. You've been staring at it the whole time. We were supposed to look each other in the eyes, remember?"

"Sorry." she said, looking at him sadly.

"Are you okay?" he asked. "You haven't said a word since we got here."

"Yeah, I'm just tired." she replied, going back to staring at that picture.

'I can't look at him, I'll go nuts.' she said to herself. 'I have never felt this uncomfortable in my entire life. I can't wait to finish this.'

Jess moved in front of her, trying to block her from staring at the picture.

"Geez, Patty really has an effect on you." he smirked softly.

Y/N smiled softly.

"You wish."

"Come on, Gilmore. Show a little bit of enthusiasm."

"I would rather be pushed in a lake." she laughed.

"Fair enough." Jess smirked. "But make sure it's not Luke the one that pushes you, he might take you by surprise."

Y/N laughed at him. Lorelai and Christopher were stepping in, proud of what they were seeing.

"Hey, you guys are really improving! Now you're actually facing each other." Lorelai joked, as she was looking at Rory and Dean.

"Anyone need a break?" Chris asked, holding six cups of coffee.

"Okay, take five. But don't sit down, because your muscles will get cold." Patty added, going outside.

"So, how's it going?" Lorelai smiled.

"Actually, I'm not very good." Rory answered.

"Yeah, which is really holding me back, because I'm a natural." Dean said sarcastically.

"Well, maybe you just need a glittery glove and a really freaky face. What about you?" she asked Y/N and Jess.

"We're pretty good." she answered.
