Part 6~

'How many of these do we have?' - As

All of us spread out across the room , breaking various pieces of furniture and trying to diy weapons. So far it was going okay , except for the fact Aiden got glass everywhere..

' Uhm , 8 including the ones we are taking off now.' - Ta

Logan sat next to me again , I threw my head back against the wall, my hand clutching a sharpened bracket from the bed.

' It's been quiet for a while now.. d-do you think the monsters are gone?' - Ta

It was dead silent, we were all hoping for that anyways, that would mean we were finally alone. I looked over to see Logan shaking ; without thinking my hand found its way to his shoulder, gripping it tightly,

' You alright?' - Y

Why did I care so much? I had only just met this guy a couple times before this whole charade and now that I think back I'd felt as though I had to protect him each time..

He didn't respond , his shaking seemed to stop however as I felt his hand rest over mine. His breathing became clearer and he became noticeably more relaxed.

' Thank you..' - L

I gave him a reassuring smile , trying to keep him calm. If we weren't, who knows what could happen.

I listened back in on the others conversation,

' They're still outside the door. I can hear them but... not in a normal way.'- As

' what do you mean?' - L

' ...remember when I said I had sensitive ears?' - As

' so you can hear them when we can't?' - Y

She seemed surprised that I clocked on so easily,

' Sort of. They make a certain... sound I don't think you guys can hear.'- As

' Well let's take this as an advantage then. Your hearing can help us out.' - Y

They all looked at me dumbfounded,

' How?' - Ty

' Think about it dumbass. We can't hear when they are coming or are near but Ashlyn can, she can get us out of there before we get ambushed by them. We have the upper hand here.' - Y

Everyone clicked on , a feeling of relief flooding through us.

' But, that doesn't mean we can just rely on her. We need to have strategies and be able to defend ourselves if anything does happen. But before we do anything , we all need rest. If we take turns on watch while the others sleep , we should all have enough energy to help us get out of here. I'll watch first , you guys try to sleep.' - Y

All of us began grabbing blankets and pillows to try and get some rest. I sat against the wall again , everyone else lying down except Logan. Was he really going to sleep sitting up?

Shockingly he did, everyone passed out instantly , because we had realised the time had stopped on 12 , we set a 2 hour timer.

About an hour in , I sat staring at the ceiling as I felt pressure on my shoulder. I turned my head to see Logan , soundly sleeping in a cradled position , his head had fallen onto my shoulder. I decided to leave him be , he seemed comfortable. I couldn't help but feel my cheeks warm up slightly however , something I wasn't used to..

I tried not to think about it as I tried to stay still. It seemed like an eternity but my watch had finally ended , the timer going off as Aiden rubbed the sleep out of his eyes. He looked over and smirked ; eyeing the two of us together. I scowled at him as he quickly turned away from me.

I could feel my eyes shutting as the exhaustion of the day caught up with me. My head slowly fell on top of Logans , finally able to sleep.

I think I could get used to this...

My head pounded as I sat up.

Wait? Wasn't I already sat up...?

I looked around the room as my eyes adjusted again, I was back in the motel room? I rubbed my eyes , not feeling the bandage that was earlier across most of my face. I saw Ashlyn beside me , looking just as confused as I was as Taylor began to stir.

' What the fuck...? What happened?' - Y

' Ashlyn? Y/N? Are... we in the bed?' -Ta

She gasped , her eyes suddenly wide and alert

' Where's the others? Are the monsters still-' - Ta

' So it did happen- you guys remember right?!' -As

' ' Of course I do , it felt so real!' - Y

' What do you-' - Ta

Suddenly a pang of nausea hit all of us. We all froze before sprinting to the bathroom , each taking turns throwing our breakfasts up.

Taylor lay with her head beside the toilet , Ashlyn lay next to the shower as I lay propped up against the sink.

Just then the two girls rushed in , weren't they like dead or something?...

'Tay... Ashlyn... Y/N?..' - E

' Are you guys okay?!'

They both shrieked as the light flicked on, my head was killing as I winced at the volume. From outside the room we heard yelling, voices of boys as their footsteps got closer.

' Taylor, Ashlyn, Y/N ! Are you in here?!' - A

' Ah ! I found 'em !' - A

' What are you doing in here?! Get out!' - E

' Wait aren't you supposed to be dead or somethin?' - A

They both blankly looked at him , confused at what he was saying and doing. Just then Tyler pushed through , sighing in relief as he saw Taylor safe.

' Y/N?!'- L

I hear Logan yell from outside , I groaned at the noise

' In here!...' - Y

We all felt another wave of nausea hit us.

What the hell was going on?...
