Sleepy cuddles and Cross' morning mood. Horror loves all the idiots respectively.

-

Despite Killer's nightly mischief, Nightmare always caved when their lovers wanted to sleep in their gigantic bed together. It usually drove them insane, or Killer did, although Horror's snoring and the way Nightmare did starfish in their sleep was also quite disruptive.

The main reason all of them insisted on piling up on Nightmare's mattress was so they could immediately comfort Dust whenever she had a bad dream.

Though falling asleep on Nightmare's silken sheets was always harder than expected, Killer was almost always to blame, Cross found it most difficult to wake up. Now the waking up part was actually inescapable but trying to leave the bed without waking any of his lovers was a challenge.

Seeing as Horror and him were the first ones to wake up, Horror liked to prepare breakfast and Cross needed a time schedule. Either that or he'd go absolutely mental.

Cross might have a shot at escaping the cuddle pile but Horror was usually trapped underneath all of them. Even if he went to sleep while out of reach, he would be embracing anyone he could hog in his sleep when he woke up.

The big guy would likely proceed to sigh as he stared in adoration at the sleeping faces of the skeletons around him, he smiled when he realised Cross was also awake.

The soldier felt he had the right to kick anyone who was suffocating him that morning which was why he socked Killer in the chest to which the flirt wheezed as he awoke. "Ow, fuckin' hell Crossy."

That was all the protest Cross got before Killer grumbled as he turned around, leaving Crossy a free skeleton. Horror chuckled at Cross' fuming as he got off the bed and walked over to the fancy walk-in bathroom of Nightmare's chamber.

Dust mumbled something in her sleep as Nightmare's tentacle decided to free Horror as well, pulling the sleepy monster towards them. Horror hummed as the deity blinked tiredly at him while Dust cuddled into their chest and Killer wrapped around them from behind.

"Cross hit me." Killer whined in his morning voice, Horror couldn't help but huff with a smile. Nightmare only hummed before granting Killer a light pet on his skull.

After the tired grumbling died down Horror hoisted himself off the comfortable sheets. He spared his lovers an adoring gaze before wobbling over to where Cross had hidden away. "Mornin'." He croaked, Cross hummed in acknowledgement though he couldn't really respond with a toothbrush in his mouth.

The big guy grabbed his own toothbrush, which was noticeably chewed, and started to brush his own teeth next to Cross. Horror had to bend down to look in the mirror.

Cross used some mouthwash when he was done with brushing his teeth and Horror followed soon after. "I'll help you with the food, m'kay?" Horror nodded with a grin as they wobbled out of the bathroom, back into the bedroom.

There, Cross started to dress himself and Horror did much the same. The big guy could still remember when Cross, and him as well, had been too insecure to change in front of the others.

A lot of time had passed since then and now both of them knew that none of them were even awake. Well, sometimes Killer gawked at them, but that was a daily occurrence. Nightmare's tentacles were wrapped around Dust and Killer in a firm embrace.

Horror was always endeared at the sight, no matter how many times he'd seen it before. "C'mon, let's go." Cross spurred, Horror followed him out of the room.

They marched down the hallways, finally reaching the living room. "Hit Killer?" The big guy questioned with a smile as Cross grabbed the eggs, bacon, cheese and bread.

"He was being an asshole last night." Cross reasoned to which Horror couldn't help but agree. "You gonna help?" The soldier asked demonstrating how he couldn't reach the top shelf of the cabinet.

Horror huffed, once more, fetching it for him. After which they made breakfast in bed for the sleepy skeletons.
