The Doctor and Captain wake up in a small cupboard, confused.
"What is it? What's happening?"
"What's going on?"
"Oh, my God!" a woman says when she says the Doctor falling out of the cupboard before the Captain steps over him. "I don't believe it, why did they put you in there?" The woman rushes to the side of the two men as the Doctor slowly pulls himself up with the help of the Captain. "They never said you were coming!"
"What happened? We were..." the Captain asks the lady. "Careful, Doc."
"Oh, mind yourself!" she exclaims as the Doctor falls pulling the Captain with him. "Oh, that's the transmat, it scrambles your head. I was sick for days. You all right?" she asks helping the Doctor up as the Captain pushes himself off the ground. "So... what's your name, then, sweetheart?"
"The Doctor, I think, I was..."
"And yours?"
"The Captain."
"I don't know what happened!" the Doctor says confused looking between the woman and his friend.
"You got chosen."
"Chosen?"
"For what?"
"You're a housemate! Both of you! You're in the house! Isn't that brilliant?" she laughs excitedly.
"That's not fair, we've got eviction in five minutes!" a man says looking over at the two newcomers. "I've been here for all nine weeks, I've followed the rules, I haven't had a single warning, and they come in swanning in!"
"If they keep changing the rules, I'm gonna protest, I am." a dark skinned woman in a pink shirt adds. "You watch me, I'm going to paint the walls."
"Would the Doctor and Captain please come to the Diary Room?" a voice on the intercom calls out. The two turn around when a high pitched buzzing emits from a door, the two walk over to it and enter the room. The Doctor takes a seat on the big red chair in the centre of the room as the Captain sits on an arm rest. "You are live on Channel forty-four thousand. Please do not swear."
"You have got to be kidding." the Doctor says.

Rose wakes up on a studio floor in a dark room, with red light shining as a dark skinned man bends over her.
"Oh... Ah... What happened?" Rose asks looking around at her surroundings.
"It's all right. It's the transmat. It does your head in, you get a bit of amnesia. What's your name?"
"Rose. But... where's the Doctor and Captain?"
"Just remember, do what the android says. Don't provoke it. The android's word is law."
"What do you mean, android? Like a robot?"
"Positions, everyone, thank you!" a woman calls out.
"Come on, hurry up!" the man offers Rose a hand.
"The contestants are in place, the cameras.."
"Oh, steady!" the man says as Rose nearly falls.
"I was travelling, with the Doctor and the Captain and a man called Captain Jack? The Doctor and Captain wouldn't just leave me." Rose says as the man helps her walk over to the podiums.
"That's enough chat!" a woman yells in the twos direction. "Positions! Final call. Good luck."
"But I'm not supposed to be here." Rose says.
"It says Rose on the podium." he says looking over to the podium that's lit up with 'Rose' on it. "Come on." he says before leaving her to go to his podium. Rose hesitates for a second before heading over to her podium, the podium next to hers is the man who help her up, the name on it 'Rodrick'
