She hiccupped.
"Oh my god, no no no! I kissed you." She gasped covering her mouth with her palm."Yes yes yes, you did." I said smirking after sitting on a chair nearby.
"Oh my god, I need a drink."
"No, you've had enough." She didn't listen to me and went inside. I followed her from between sweaty bodies only to find her gulping alcohol directly from the bottle.
I snatched away the bottle and guided her out of the crowd in the garden as her state wasn't even helping her to even walk properly now. Her sling bag was falling again and again so I took it from her and hanged it around my shoulder.
"I..I need to puke." She said and threw up in the bushes on her side.
"I'll be right back in fifteen seconds." I told her and quickly grabbed a water bottle and a piece of lemon from the counter and went to her.
After sucking lemon and drinking water she felt a little better and sat on stairs.
"Let's go." I said.
"Where?" She asked.
"Home."
"Whose home?" She again interrogated.
"Your home."
"Why not yours?" She questioned thrice in just a few minutes.
"Genius, you're going to regret saying all this tomorrow."
I offered her my hand to stand up and we motioned towards my Thar. Her feet were stumbling and she was cursing me to not to take her home as she wanted to 'dance'. As we reached the parking lot, she was already half asleep.
I opened the door of the vehicle made her sit, wrapped the seat belt around her and was about to head towards my seat just then her phone rang. I didn't wanted to pry her privacy so I didn't picked up.
We were halfway through my flat and I had to pick up her phone when it rang for the third time. The name on the screen was 'Jiya'. I assume it was her bestfriend.
"Hello babe, are you okay? It's 10.44 you didn't even call or texted I'm worried, bitch."
"She's fine." Listening to me the person on the other side gasped.
"Who are you? It's Radhika's mobile. What the hell is it doing with you? Are you her kidnapper? If yes then leave her or I'll slit your throat in Morana style." She completed and I chuckled.
"Oh my god, they do laugh like that before threatening the victims family. Who are you? What amount of money do you need?" I rubbed my free hand over my face and prepared myself to reply.
"She's not kidnapped. This is Avyukta Bharadwaj, her senior. I'm taking her home because she got drunk terribly."
"Lemme talk to her."
"You can't, She's asleep."
"Oh um...she was about to spend the night at my place so can you please drop her here."
"She wanted to be at my place so I'm taking her there with me."
"Wait what. No no no! I know what's going on in your mind but don't even try to."
"Don't worry I'm not that kinda-
"Oh puhleez, I don't care what kinda man you're but if the girl in front of you is this pretty I bet you can't control yourself. So you better drop her here at my place."
"Okay what's the address?" She told me where to drop Radhika and as soon as we reached Jiya's place I unbuckled my seatbelt and glanced at her.
She looked so pretty peacefully sleeping with her head on my palm. I kept my hand like that whole time so that she don't fall.
-What do you mean you want her to fall?
-Fall for you stupid!
I payed attention to two voices in my mind which were talking about her. And then I turned towards her to take a look of her face. I was lost in admiring the mesmerizing creation of God and her phone ringed again.
"Where the hell you took my bestie? It doesn't take half an hour to reach here!" She started yelling as soon as I picked up.
"Stop! Just stop yelling firstly. And secondly I'm here from last fifteen minutes come outside." I told her and she came outside in two minutes.
I went to open the door of her side and she glared at me.
"I'm going to destroy you if you do something hurt her."
"Can you please stop threatening me? I care for her more than you, okay!" I said in an annoying tone.
"What the hell are you saying? She's my bestie okay I love her more than you." She said shrugging.
I picked Radhika up from the seat with one hand on her back and the other behind her knees to take her inside.
"There was no need to pick her up!"
"Can't you see she's unable to walk properly." I said rolling my eyes.
I went inside her home quietly as I didn't want Jiya's parents to wake up and gently placed Radhika on bed.
All this time she looked like a small cute kinda baby who's in deep slumber.
After that I gave Jiya some medicines which would help Radhika to reduce her hangover and then I left.
