I was so busy dancing and taking greetings from my friends that I didn't notice boys were missing. I made my way towards exit
only to see a crying Natasha standing there with Avyukta and Rahul." Oh my god, Natty? Are you okay? What happened? " I asked as I made my way towards them.
" Later. " Avyukta said and I nodded. My gaze locked with him and I wanted to ask if I could do something for Natasha. He shook his head and turned towards Natasha,
" Let's go, I'll drop you. "
" No, Rahul will drop me, you go with Radhika. She needs you, I've already ruined enough of her day. " She completed and wiped her teary eyes.
" Nonsense. Rahul you go and check up on Jiya, Avi and I'll drop Natasha. " Rahul nodded and left.
We drove in the silence and I helped Natasha to get inside her flat and be comfortable.
" Are you sure you don't need anything? Something to eat, any meds? " I asked as she sat on a chair.
" No, Radhika. Seriously, I'm fine. And I'm so sorry to ruin your birthday. I ....I didn't know this w..would" her voice cracked as she spoke and a tear cascaded down her cheek.
" I don't mind, Natty. It was just a party, leave it. And listen to me carefully you can talk to me about it okay." I told her as I cupped her cheeks then rubbed her back until she was normal.
She chose not to tell me anything and I respected that. We left after Avyukta made her lemonade and gave her some painkillers for her headache. After getting out of her flat Avyukta checked the lock twice and left after making sure she locked it properly.
I like this habit of him so much, he's such a gentleman, I fall harder every time I see him doing something like that. There's also this thing about him that he shows his care and love towards Natasha openly, even I once thought they were something, thanks to Natasha, she cleared it that they were like brother and sister. It may be because Avyukta lost his sister at a very young age and he sees her in Natasha.
After making sure that Rahul took care of the party I asked Avyukta to drop me home but he had another plans. I realised it when his vehicle stopped in front of the building he lives in.
" Let me pay back for the time I didn't spend with you at the club." He said in a low voice.
" But mumma will be worried about me. " I replied as I pouted.
" I got it managed. "
" Oh my god don't tell me you told her that you'll keep me with you. " I said as I gasped.
" Aw honey you think that low of me?"
" Then? " My brow rose in question.
" Jiya helped. "
" Isn't she your competitor in the game of who loves me more? "
" That she is, but she said she'd do it for you. Little did she know she helped me indirectly." He grinned telling me that.
We went to his flat and he opened the door for me as he was inside he shut the door and grabbed my waist to turn me around. In no time his lips were on mine.
" I literally have to break my back whenever I kiss you like this. "
" I'm not that short. " I slapped his chest and he picked me up so effortlessly like I weighed nothing.
He sat me on top of the small cupboard that is placed in the living room and took my lips between his in a deep kiss. He kissed me like he wanted to swallow me whole and I kissed him back because I wanted to do the same and there's no scenario in which I'd get over the intimacy that lies between us when we kiss each other.
" You know I wanted to do this when you stepped into the club." He said.
" I know, I read your eyes. " Listening to me he chuckled and I was a goner again for his husky voice. He started to kneel down in front of me and I gasped.
" It's not what you think, honey." He said and gently removed my heels. He took out a box from the same cupboard I was sitting on and opened it.
Silver metal shined in the light and I wondered what was it. He took out the item and looped it around both my ankles. When he was done, he glanced a look towards me and tears somehow started to blur my vision.
He bought me the anklet bells of the same design which I used to love to wear when I was a child. I stopped wearing them because they were bought by my father. Mumma also asked me if I wanted to wear anklets again but I denied.
He was still knelt in front of me and as he looked up at me I didn't see a man who bought me anklets. I saw a man who made me forget another moment from my withered past by altering that memory for lifetime.
" Do you like them? " He asked in a low voice as if he wanted to soothe the ache of the memory from me.
" I love them, Avi." I said. He wiped his thumb on my cheeks and cupped my face.
" Thanks for turning another bad memory into a beautiful one." I said as my hands rested on his on my cheeks.
" I will turn them all into beautiful ones, one by one, honey." Listening to him my hands automatically tugged him closer by a hold on his shirt and I pulled him in a hug.
After that we danced a little as he said "I didn't dance with you in club so I'll have to pay you back. "
I wanted to live in that moment forever with his hands splayed all over my back, mine on his neck, both of us swayed gently on the soft music.
He then placed me into bed and I don't remember when I fell asleep. I woke up to the sound of him singing something.
Pulling myself out from bed, I searched for him and found him sitting half naked in the balcony which is merged with his room. My gaze turned lustrous as my feet dragged me towards the balcony.
His voice was soft. As he sang the song Sab Tera, I leaned into the door frame so that I could listen to him properly. His eyes met mine exactly when he sang the part
' mai toh tere rang me rang chuka hoon
bas tera ban chuka hoon
Mera mujhme kuch nahi
Sab Tera....'I smiled as he completed and went to him when he extended a hand. I directly landed in his lap.
There was a box kept on the another chair, which he lifted and opened only to bring out another accessory. It was a bracelet on which different rectangular charms were attached.
" I was unsure whether to give it to you or not. But at the end I thought to give it. " He said after making me wear that. I took one of the rectangular charm in between my fingers and saw a date engraved on it. I saw them all and there wasn't a single one on which a date was not written.
" These are the important dates like our first encounter, my confession, your confession and our secret meet ups at beginning. " He told me when I gave him a questioning look and listening to him my heart swelled with love.
Oh god, what did I do to deserve him? I leaned down to kiss him on cheek but he turned his face causing our lips meeting. I would have fought if it was another situation but I gave in because I wanted him as much as he wanted me at that moment.
