37. RADHIKA

It's been a week since Janaki Di's engagement and that evening which changed our relationship fully. After that day I have become more comfortable in Avi's vicinity. It was a step that we both took together in order to strengthen our relationship and show the love we have for each other. I feel like I'm the luckiest girl in the world to have him.

He walked out of kitchen, his hands holding bowls of chips. After placing them on the table he came to sit beside me and rested his hand on my shoulders, I leaned into him as I glanced over our comfort people sitting in a circle around us.

We all have gathered Avyukta's place for a chit chat session. Jiya and Rahul were sitting on the same couch as us. My right side was occupied by Natasha and opposite to her sat Suyash bhaiya and Priti, they came to meet us yesterday and stayed when we both asked them to. In the corner of the room sat a guy who has recently joined Avi and Rahul's football team which by the way came with privilege to join our group as well.

We talked talked and talked and I didn't realise when time escaped. I think this is what happens when you are surrounded by your people, you don't realise when time passed. We talked about everything including how was life going, how were Suyash bhaiya and Priti doing in their office and all. Natasha seemed annoyed by Ritvik's presence even though the guy didn't utter anything.

Core eight.
That's what Natasha called all of us. I liked it. We had so much fun after the chit chat session, we watched a movie together, meanwhile I noticed something. Instead of watching the movie Ritvik's eyes were glued to Natasha's face. Maybe they were there because of her habit of reacting intensively while watching movies or maybe just maybe there's something else.

On the other hand Priti today seemed dull. That's why after every one was gone I asked her what the matter was and she told me everything. My heart ached listening to her. How can people be this heartless but well nothing less can be expected from Roys. I hope Priti and Suyash bhaiya will overcome this situation and in the end they'll get their happy ending.

Both of us went to the room to only to see bharadwaj brothers playing Ludo. We both joined them because suyash bhaiya said and I quote
" we were playing four member game as we had to reserve the spots for our girls. "

We both giggled and joined them and suyash bhaiya won the game. It was a little funny to see Avyukta lose a Ludo match. He then went after his brother saying he won by cheating and I loved how both of them forget everything when they're in each others vicinity whereas handle everything maturely when needed.

It was already evening and I had to go home. I was about to go through a cab but my dear mr senior said that
" I'm your personal driver and there's no need of cab while I'm at your service 24/7. " I laughed at that and let him drive me home.

The ride to home was the bestest ride with him till now because one of his favourite song started playing on radio when he switched it on and then he started singing with it. I swear to god those three and a half minutes were true blessing to my ears. He voiced each and every note so perfectly that I had to face him to see him sing.

Sometimes I wonder, I wouldn't have gotten someone like him even if I had wandered with a oil lit diya in my hands to find a guy.

I came out of my trance when he waved his hand in front of me. And I realised the song was over " Yeah, what?"

" I said put your feet here. " He patted his lap while driving.

" Why?"

" Just do it. " He ordered while his attention was on road and I was stuck between should I or should I not do what he asked me to.

" Do you want me to put them here? " He asked looking at me.

" Jeez, alright." I rested my feet in his lap after fully turning towards him. He started massaging my heels and toes with his free hand.

" What? Why are you doing this? " I attempted to pull my feet but he didn't let me as he gripped my ankles.

" Let me, please." Oh god that word again.

" But why?"

" You were standing for half of the time in kitchen while making your special cookies for Priti. " He mocked the your special part because he was against me being in kitchen and not with him.

" Oh god, Avi."

" Don't Avi me okay? I won't let that slip, that you preferred to be with Priti instead of me."

" Stop being clingy okay. She was feeling dull and what if I spent an hour with her. It's no big deal. "

" Yeah it's not, until and unless you're willing to pay me back for it." He grinned like a baby.

" Youuuuhhhh—" I couldn't say anything because he flashed me his full blown smile in a teasing way. Rest of the ride passed in silence. I opened my mouth to speak when he stopped his thar a little before my home.

" Why here?"

" Because, I want to get my fill."

" Of what?"

" Of you, obviously."

" Not happening. "

" Why?"

" Not here. And besides that I don't like PDA."

" Oh come on, there's no one. It's night already."

" Nope. " I flashed him a smile and tried to open the door. But he locked it.

" Why you are being so infuriating? "

" Woah, smartass. Since when asking for a bye bye kiss from your girlfriend is considered as infuriating. " I rolled my eyes and folded my hands as l listened to him.

" Kiss me or we can spend night like this." He leaned towards me and turned his head so that his cheek was facing me.

" Okay fine." I went to press a kiss on his cheek and he suddenly turned his head causing our lips to meet. His hand came to grip my jaw as if he didn't want me to pull apart.

" I can never get enough of you, honey. " He said after pulling his lips from mine and left me blushing.

After that he walked me home and left only after checking that whether I locked the door properly or not.
