A/N
I lied. Turns out my brain loves to brainstorm after exams. But look at the bright side. You don't have to wait for a week for the next update.
So I prefer writing a chaper that involves a shitload of drama in third person. I'll try to make it good and easy for you to understand. I know some of you are literally confused when it comes to third person's POV. It will still be written in the mind of Acacia so you won't just suddenly be in Axel's mind or anything. Oh and I'm also experimenting with paragraphs rn just to let you know.
I kinda forgot Tate's Beta name but I do remember the old version's one. Remind me if I did mention his name in this version. Oh and this is only part 1 of the chapter. Quite boring but you need to read this because I did introduce a new someone in this. So now enjoy loves.

Laughs and chatters were heard as soon as they entered the ballroom. Tate certainly outdone himself with the decorations. The food also looked delicious and absolutely tempting. Acacia's stomach grumbles in hunger. Oh glorious food, wait 'till mama comes for you.
"Ladies and gentlemen welcome to Silver Moon!" A voice boomed around the ballroom. Acacia and her mate looked up and saw Harrison, Tate's Beta who had a bright smile on his face. It was rare seeing him like that. He was usually so grumpy and lifeless so it shocked Acacia to see him like this.
"Firstly, I would like to thank you for coming. Especially our dearest king and queen," he paused momentarily and smiled at the rulers of all werewolves. Acacia was totally weirded out by now. "Second, as you all are informed, our Alpha Tate Silver has found his mate. May I present to you, Silver Moon's future Alpha and Luna!"
Tate came out holding hands with a brunette. The brunette had green eyes and Acacia could see slight freckles on her cheeks. It didn't help that she was pale either. Her body was slender and she was at least 5 foot 5. She had an innocent aura that made Acacia feel worried about her. Hopefully, Tate will treat her right.
"Good evening everyone," Tate said into the microphone. The crowd burst into 'hello' and 'good evening's. Acacia could see a glint of pride in the brunette's eyes. Yep, Tate definitely treats her right
"As you are all aware, I have found my other half, my soulmate and my wife till I die," Tate said smiling cheekily. Acacia couldn't help but wonder. 'What would happen to her if she wasn't rejected in the first place? Would things still be the same?'
The brunette blushed at his words. She took a few short strides and mumbles a 'hi' into the microphone. Then, she practically clung onto Tate. Acacia noticed that she was shy. Tate introduced her to the crowd. Only then Acacia found out that the brunette was called Lillian Rainwater.
Lillian had a soothing voice. Her voice filled with calmness and it was so soft. Axel practically tuned out along with a few more people when Tate gave his speech. Acacia however was observing everybody in the room. The way they talked, move or even do things.
When the little ceremony was over, they had an after party where everyone just gets drunk. Axel went off and talked to his friends. Acacia didn't mind. He needed a break after all. Acacia took a sip of Vodka and let out a huge sigh.
"Greetings, your highness."
Acacia looked up and saw Lillian. "Hi Lillian. Congrats on finding your mate," she spoke. "Thank you, your highness," Lillian replied. Acacia faked a laugh and said "Please, cut the 'your highness' crap. I don't like it."
Acacia didn't want to sound annoyed with the title and people thought that she would've been used to it by now. Yeah, no. "Sorry," Lillian mumbled. "Want some?" Acacia asked pointing towards her vodka. "No thank you. I don't drink," Lillian said.
So she doesn't drink. I wonder how she would put up with Tate's love for alcohol. Interesting.
"I see. So what do you think of Silver Moon?" Acacia tried making small talks. "The members were okay but I don't think Victoria Monette (Refer chapter 11) likes me. The glare she sends me, damn." Lillian said then she mumbled, "Oh if looks could kill."
Lillian and Acacia chatted for a while. Lillian was outgoing and friendly. Looks like she was just stage nervous. Acacia felt herself comfortable with her. "Lillian!" A voice shouted. Both of them looked at the direction of the voice. It was just Tate worrying for his mate.
Acacia could feel Tate's confusion. If she was Tate then she would be confused too. It's not everyday that your ex-mate becomes friends with your mate. "Your majesty," Tate said holding Lillian's hand in his. Since when did Tate change?
"Tate, I think you know better than to call me that," Acacia pointed out. "Right. Sorry Caci (Pronounced Kay-sea) I just didn't expect you to be here," Tate said. Since when did Tate call her Caci?
"What queen would I be if I didn't attend my people's ceremony especially if an Alpha found his mate? Thinking that I wouldn't attend is complete and utter ridiculousness," Acacia said. "Are you guys close?" Lillian asked.
Acacia wanted to snort.
That was like asking if you like to eat dog shit.
"No," Tate replied scowling. "Oh sorry. I just thought that you guys were close since you did call her Caci. My bad," Lillian said. "It's alright," Tate spoke.
So he was still a bastard.
Acacia smiles at her. A real one this time. "No worries. And to answer your question--no we aren't close. If we are, it's as close as a Queen and an Alpha could be," she replied. Lillian's mouth formed an 'O' shape and nodded her head. "Come on Lilly, my family is waiting for you," Tate said.
He turned towards Acacia. "Excuse us," he said before taking Lillian's arm in his. They dissapeared in the crowd and Acacia continued drinking.
