Chapter 4: I'm hit by the Force: Green Edition

We, or should I say, the boys, had been running for what felt like forever. I shouldn't complain though because Sanji's been carrying me the whole time. I'm lucky he was here because I doubt Luffy or mean old Zoro would've carried me.

"Which way's the sea?!"

I looked over to Luffy, seeing as he is the captain and I must say, his answer did not reassure me in any way. 

"I don't know! The rain makes it hard to tell where we're going!"

I looked over Sanji's shoulder and noticed a whole crowd of marines running right for us. Okay, if I can't fight with my sword, then maybe I can take care of them with my devil fruit. Time to help my captain for the first time!

I closed my eyes tight and pictured a large 800lb anvil. Perfect! Alright, time for the best part. I stuck my hand out behind Sanji and shouted, "Appear!" A moment later, the 800lb anvil I pictured appeared directly above the group of marines before falling on them and crushing them. Wow! Am I cool or what?

The boys all looked at me like I'd grown three heads, and could I blame them? I just mercilessly crushed a bunch of marines with an anvil that literally appeared out of nowhere. Well, I guess it's time to explain my devil fruit. I rubbed my neck bashfully with a smile forming on my face before telling them my power.

"I ate the dream-dream fruit and now I can make anything I picture appear. I can make things the size of a medium sized boat right now, but no bigger, and the only things I can't make are food, water, and money. Well, I mean I could make money, but it just takes A LOT out of me, so I prefer not to do it. Pretty cool, huh? And yeah, there's some other stuff I can do, but that'll have to wait for later."

Luffy was the first to respond.

"Awesome!! That's so cool, Y/n! I've got a devil fruit power too! The gum-gum fruit, so my body's made of rubber!"

Now that surprised me. Rubber? That's such a wacky sounding ability I couldn't even imagine how that must look. I guess I'd have to wait and see.

"A wonderful ability for a stunning lady! I'm so happy you're coming with us, Y/n!"

"It's definitely a weird power. It'll be useful though, so at least you won't be dead weight, snowy."

Sanji is just the sweetest guy! But what's up with mosshead calling me snowy?! Is he calling me that because of my white hair? Is this going to be a thing now? Fine. A rivalry has officially been formed.

"I'm going to ignore what you said, Zoro. And thanks, Sanji! And you've got devil fruit powers too, Luffy?! I've never met anyone else with devil fruit powers before, so it feels nice to know someone now haha! And no, Buggy doesn't count cause he sucks."

I turned to look in front of us and missed what Luffy was saying because I spotted a woman standing in the middle of the street. Girl, it is cold and rainy out. Why are you just standing there? I would love to be inside right now, snuggled up in blankets.

The guys soon noticed her presence as well, and Sanji wasted no time in fawning over her. I don't think he realized she was a marine, but even if he had, I don't think it would change his reaction.

She started talking to us, but I couldn't really make out what she was saying. I think she was directing her words at Zoro because I heard her say his name under her breath, but other than that, I couldn't hear a thing.

My legs stretched in Sanji's arms, and they seemed to be feeling better, so I tapped his shoulder to get his attention, "Hey, Sanji. My legs are feeling better, so you can put me down now. Thank you for carrying me this whole time."
