Brrrr! It's freezing!

I opened my eyes and looked up from where I'd been laying, only to see that it was snowing! How long had it been since we'd left the Twin Capes for the weather to get so cold? I didn't sleep through a season, did I?

Snow had completely surrounded me while I had slept, keeping me in the crow's nest. Frozen, I clapped my hands and poof! I now have gloves, a hat, a nice coat, and that cool scarf that unicycle guy from Buggy's crew would wear. It's way cuter in pink and white though. I carefully got my wings through the two holes I put in the back of the coat and got them out without any problems. That's good at least, cause I would've whined about them hurting for hours if I messed that up.

Anyway, woohoo! Now that I'm more dressed for the weather, this is awesome! I love winter weather! Not that sweaty, uncomfortable weather people call summer.

I stood up from the now snow-covered sleeping bag, opened a window to throw it in there, and climbed down the rope ladder only to see Luffy and Usopp playing in the snow and building snowmen.

Damn! How long have I missed out on the snow? I gotta catch up and build some cool stuff too!

"Hey Luffy, Usopp! When did it start snowing? I didn't sleep too long did I?"

The boys looked over at me and shouted at the same time, "Y/n! You didn't miss anything, it just started snowing a few minutes ago! Come play with us!"

Okay, so they didn't tell me how long I slept, but whatever, if I haven't missed out on the snow yet, then everything is as it should be. I jumped off the rope ladder and began to run over to join them, but remembered my wings, making me move slower.

Damn wings. I just wanna act like a 5-year-old with these guys! Let me live!

"Hey, Y/n. How are your wings feeling? Do they still hurt?" Their question touched me, and I answered them happily, "They're feeling a lot better! And they are still a bit sore, but other than that, I'm doing pretty well. Thanks for asking! Now, can I join you guys?" It was a stupid question, but they seemed excited to have another person in their competition, and they said hurriedly, "YES! And glad you're feeling better!" It's nice to be cared about. It's been a while.

I found an untouched spot of snow and began building. It had been so long since I got to actually play in snow, I forgot how fun it was! Snow > Sand. Change my mind.

After a few minutes of banter, Luffy announced he had finished making "Mr. Snow Barrell". That's about as much as I expected from Luffy, but it's still adorable. Usopp, however, did not waste any time in calling Luffy's work "amateur" and calling his snowman a blob. I turned to look at Usopp and told him off. Sorry Usopp, but Luffy is adorable, and he is captain, so he comes first. Plus, he doesn't have the Pinocchio nose. The long nose is definitely a con against Usopp.

"Well, Usopp. Why don't you show us how you build a snowman, cause what Luffy built is exactly how a snowman should look." The sniper seemed ready for my words, because he immediately revealed his Snow Queen he had built.

"Take a look at this majesty, Y/n. This, this is art."

"Alright, Usopp. At least you've got the skill to back up all that talk."

I quickly finished my snowman, if you could even call it that. It looked more like an actual man made out of snow. I guess Luffy really is the one with the most child-like wonder.

"Wow Y/n! Yours looks awesome! Does he have a name?"

Luffy's question made me think for a moment. After a second, I declared, "His name is Lucius! And he is the Snow Prince of my home kingdom!"
