Chapter Twenty

A/N: Hey guys! I know you must be surprised to see me again so soon! I updated just a couple of days go, but I found myself with some free time and decided that I should update.

But before that, I do have a few notices and messages for you guys, and I hope you do read them, I will appreciate it, very much.

First of all, I would like to thank you, for the continued support on this story, even when I had not updated for over a month, and within that month the reads went up by over 1,000 reads! I was very surprised and happy to log onto watt-pad one day and see all of this, I am very grateful.

Second of all, I have made plans for both a second and a third book, which I already have names and plots for. This series has a very simple name, that being 'The Crown Trilogy' and it will be finished up with a third book. I am hoping to finish this book after about 30 chapters, so maybe within a few months, I will begin the next book.

The next notice is that I am looking for a permanent editor who will be able to edit each chapter in this book. If you are interested please either message me, or you can comment below, I will be thankful.

And finally, as it is the holidays, I will be updating more, so this means more chapters for you guys to read. So basically, if I can provide you with chapters to enjoy, I hope you can provide me with the continued support! I would love to get 2000 reads by the end of April, leaving you with a whole month away and that is only 300 more reads. Also, 100 votes would be Fantastic, which would be 17 more :)

Oh, and also remember that in this story, England's royal family have more power than the government, just like it used to be and how it still is in some countries.

I would be lying if I said that I wasn't scared about becoming a princess or a Queen. I was terrified of just thinking about it, and it wasn't something that I had thought of before hand. We are not like other countries, where the government makes many decisions; here, it is down to us and just the thought of it, petrifies me.

I knew that I would have the full support of William and his family, along with my family and friends, but I couldn't stop the nerves taking over. I still had three weeks to prepare myself, but I knew that those three weeks could and would not last forever.

"Do you want to go down for dinner?" William asked me, taking me away from my day-dream.

I jumped slightly as I looked up at him, "Pardon?"

He shook his head faintly, "Dinner?"

"Oh, yes of course!" I smiled, "What time is it?"

"Nearly eight..." He sighed, "Don't forget that I am not at the palace tomorrow, I shall be leaving early and I shall be back late..."

"Why?"

I paused and turned to him, confused. He had never mentioned this, well; I had not remembered it and I do not remember anyone else telling me either. He studied my face carefully but shook his head, with a heavy sigh.

"I have already told you.... twice." He said simply, helping me to my feet and leading me from the study.

"When did you tell me this; I do not remember you saying anything about going out tomorrow...?" This seemed to annoy him, as he only dragged me more forcefully down the hallway and towards the private dining hall.

"After Jamie left to find Blake this morning, and also last night, we talked about it; remember?" He asked, turning his head to the side so that he could see me.
