Inhyuk's call to Sunjae on a busy sunday evening, requesting him to perform likely came as a surprise to Sunjae, possibly stirring up conflicting emotions within him. Sunjae might have felt torn between his loyalty to his friend and his own reservations about performing, especially since he agreed with Sol about not performing till exams.

Inhyuk begging his friend, explaining the urgency of the situation and saying that this would be the last time he'd ask sunjae to perform. Sunjae although hesitant, agreed to help his friend for one last time, little did he know that trouble was brewing in the form of Kim Raewon, who saw Sunjae as a rival. Upon learning of Sunjae's upcoming performance, Raewon rushed to the club with the intention of sabotaging it. Spotting Sunjae's guitar backstage, he seized the opportunity and smashed it into pieces before fleeing the scene.

Meanwhile, Sol, having just heard from her friends about Sunjae's performance, hurried to the club. Rushing backstage to catch a glimpse of Sunjae, as she saw his broken guitar lying in pieces. Confusion and concern flooded her mind as she picked up the shattered instrument, wondering what could have happened.

"What did you do, Sol?", Sunjae lashed out at her. Sol turned to see Sunjae who just came out from the washroom. As she tried to explain herself, her voice trembling with emotion. "I didn't do anything, Sunjae I came her and found your guitar like this. Please, you have to believe me." Sunjae, not wanting to listen to any of her explanation says, "I don't want to hear it, Sol. I never knew you would stoop this low just to stop me from performing. You should be focusing on your boyfriend, not causing trouble for me. Just leave me alone."

Sol desperate to explain herself reaches out and touch Sunjae's hand. However, Sunjae bluntly removes her hand, eyes filled with anger and distrust. He then storms off, leaving her alone while Sol tries to calm herself down contemplating whether she can ever change his fate? despite her efforts she doesn't seem to change anything but only complicate things further.

After school as Sunjae was walking towards the bus stop raewon came and stopped him. Sunjae confused removed his headphones to hear what raewon wants to say. Raewon, not saying anything just shows him a business card, "MX Entertainment", written on it. Sunjae confused raises an eyebrow to which Raewon replies, "You still don't understand that after breaking your guitar it was me who performed in your place. Coincidentally, the CEO of MX entertainment who was in search of new talents saw my performance and offered me to train in his company as a trainee under MX". "It was you who broke my guitar yesterday?", Sunjae asks.

"Ofcourse, thanks to you and your dumb guitar", Raewon smiles. But Sunjae wasn't focusing on whether Raewon got scouted by a big company or not, all his focus was on Sol. Whom he yesterday accused of breaking his guitar. Upon realising his mistake his mistake he ran in search for Sol leaving Raewon dumbfolded as if his words didn't even effected Sunjae or started a flare of jealosy or envy in Sunjae's heart.

Unable to find Sol anywhere, he rushed towards their apartment, waiting for her in the entrance. after waiting for some minutes he spotted Sol approaching. Desperate to make amends for his mistake, he quickly stepped in her path. But Sol ignored him and sidestep him , but Sunjae's hand on the wall blocked her resulting in halting her movements. "What do you want, Sunjae?", she asked him with an emotionless face. Sunjae's throat tightened with emotion as he struggled to find the right words to express his remorse. "I... I need to apologize. I made a terrible mistake yesterday, and I accused you of something you didn't do. I was wrong, and I'm so sorry", he says.

"How do I know that whether you are sincerely apologizing or not? You were pretty convinced yesterday that I broke your guitar", Sol said still mad at him for not believing in her despite all her efforts yesterday.

"I know, and I was wrong to jump to conclusions like that. But I've learned the truth now, and I want to make things right between us. Please, Sol, forgive me", he pleaded to Sol showing his puppy eyes.

oh those puppy eyes, how could Sol ignore them?

"Okay, okay", Sol said trying not to look at those eyes. Sunjae smilled at her forgiveness.

Sunjae sat beside Sol on the swings, their feet skimming the ground as they gently swayed back and forth. The street light cast a warm hue over the playground, painting everything in a soft, comforting light.

"Hey, Sol," Sunjae began, his voice tentative but curious. "I noticed you haven't been spending much time with your boyfriend lately. Everything okay?"

Sol paused for a moment, her gaze fixed on the ground as she considered her response. Finally, looked up at Sunjae. "We actually broke up," she admitted. Sunjae's heart skipped a beat, a mixture of surprise and something else he couldn't quite place washing over him. He felt a pang of sympathy for Sol, but beneath it all, there was a glimmer of something resembling happiness.

"I'm sorry to hear that," Sunjae said sincerely, "Are you okay?". Sol replied, "Yeah, I'm fine, what can stop me from being happy?". Sol, looked cool about the breakup as if it doesn't matters to her. Sunjae thought that maybe she was trying to act cool about the breakup infront of him. As they swung in silence for a moment, Sunjae couldn't help but feel a strange sense of relief mingled with anticipation. The possibility of spending more time with Sol, getting to know her better without the shadow of her relationship hanging over them, filled him with a quiet excitement.

-----------------------------

As the night falls, Sunjae lies down on his bed, looking at the ceiling. He can't help but think of Sol, and with that smile gets plastered on his face. Mustering up the courage he opens his computer and sends an electronic wave of friendship to Sol. Sol, who was just on her computer saw Sunjae's friend request and smiled. She immediately accepted.

Looking at the notifications, Sunjae let out a small "yes", expressing his small victory.  He couldn't help but smile, feeling his cheeks flush with warmth. Lost in his reverie, Sunjae didn't notice the soft creak of his bedroom door opening. It was only when his mother's amused voice cut through his thoughts that he snapped back to reality.

"Now which girl turned Sunjae into a tomato?" his mother teased, her eyes twinkling with mischief as she spotted the telltale blush on her son's cheeks. Startled, Sunjae sat up quickly, trying to regain his composure. "Uh, no, Mom, I was just... uh...". But his mother just laughed gently, her voice filled with affection. "It's okay, sweetheart. We've all been there. Just don't forget to come downstairs for dinner. Your favorite, kimchi stew, is almost ready."
