Under the cloak of night, I found myself navigating the lybrinthe corridors of the palace. The air was heavy with anticipation.

Clutching my leather bound journal, it's pages marked with hidden truths, I moved with utmost caution. Tonight, I was not just an observer but a guardian of secrets waiting to be unraveled.

In the solace of my candlelit chamber, I prepared to meet Raven.

The candles flame danced, casting long shadows that played upon the stone walls, the hour was late, and the castle had just settled into restless slumber.

I found myself in a secluded  courtyard, bathed in moonlight. Raven's arrival would be silent, like a ghost passing through the night.

After a couple minutes, Raven emerged from the darkness, without a word, we locked gazes. I paced the length of the garden, my heart pounding with the echo of the council's harsh whispers. "Raven." I whispered. "- I heard them, the council, they don't think I'm ready."

Raven titled his head to the side. "Then let us prove them wrong." He said. His voice was steady and reassuring. "What do you suggest we do?" I stop and take a moment to look fully at Raven, who now stands in front of me. The moonlight casts a soft glow on his face, emphasizing the determination in his piercing emerald green eyes. With a thoughtful pause, Raven runs his hand through his jet-black hair before breaking the silence. "I believe our next step should be to consult the ancient texts," He suggests. "Hidden within the library's depths, there are awnsers waiting to be discovered."

His words resonate within me. "You're right." I reply, a spark of excitement igniting through me. "The library holds the key to unlocking the secrets we seek." Suddenly, a thought crossed my mind." But, what about the guards stationed at the doors? You can't risk being seen."

Raven's eyes glinted with a mischievous light as if had anticipated  this very concern. "Worry not." He said with a sly grin."I have a few tricks up my sleeve. Shadows are friends to those who know how to walk among them. We'll use the secret passages that weave through the castle, the ones forgotten by time, and ignored by the guards."

I nodded, impressed by his cunning plan. "Lead the way, Raven. Tonight, we delve into the past to shape our future." With a shared look, we moved towards the shadows, ready to uncover the mysteries.

As we make our way through the hidden corridors, the air grew thick. Dust danced in the faint moonlight that filtered through the cracks in the walls. The scent of old parchment and old wisdom filled the air, fueling our curiosity. Raven's steps were silent, his movements fluid as he navigated the labyrinth passages with ease. It was as if he had done this a thousand times before. Maybe he had, I thought. But what would he need from here?

Finally we arrived at the entrance of the library the massive wooden doors stood tall and imposing, guards by the watchful eyes of the sentinels. Raven turned to me. "Leave the guards to me." He whispered, a playful smirk on his lips. " I have a way of making them look the other way."  With a wave of his hand and a few whispered words, Raven disappeared into the darkness, leaving me waiting.

Time seemed to stretch as I stood there, my heart pounding with anxiety. Minutes turned into an eternity- or so it felt like. Until, finally, the doors creaked open. "We're in, your highness. " He said, smirking, his voice barely above a whisper. "The library awaits, ready to unveil its secrets to us. Are you ready yo embark on this odyssey, my friend?" I nodded, a surge of adrenaline coursing through my veins. Together- we stepped into the library.
