Aurelia's Point of view

I hurried through the grand hallway, my mind racing with the day's plans. The polished marble floors echoed my footsteps, the ornate chandelier's above cast a warm glow on the gilded wall. I was almost at the door when Elara called out from the kitchen. Her voice carried a mix of concern and curiosity.

"Miss Aurelia, where are you going in such a rush?" Elara asked, wiping her hands on her apron.

I paused, forcing a calm expression." Just some errands. Elara. I'll be back soon." Elara's eyes softened, and she handed me a neatly wrapped ham and cheese sandwich." Take this with you. You never know when you need a bite."

"Thank you." I said, taking the sandwich and quickly heading out the door. The scent of freshly baked bread and melted cheese wafted up, momentarily comforting me.

As I stepped outside, the morning sun greeted me, casting long shadows on the cobblestone streets. The air was crisp, and the distant sounds of the bustling market filled the atmosphere. I made my way through the lively streets, and my thoughts focused on the hidden chamber me and Raven needed to find.

I arrived at the meeting spot, a secluded corner of the old library. The ancient building stood tall, its stone facade covered in ivy.

Raven was already there, waiting with a map spread out on the wooden table. The dim light from the stained glass windows created a mosaic of colors on the floor. "You're late." He said, looking up with a smirk.

"Sorry," I replied, catching my breath. "Elara was asking questions."

Raven nodded, understanding the need for discretion. "Let's get started. We don't have all day."

I glanced down at the map, curiosity piqued. "Where did you get this anyway?"

Raven's eyes sparkled with a mix of excitement and mystery. " I found it in an old bookshop down by the docks. The owner said it was part of a collection from a long-lost explorer. It wasn't easy to get my hands on it,"

We poured over the map, tracing the ancient markings and deciphering the codes. The parchment was old and fragile, and the ink faded but still legible. Every second counted, as we knew we had to find the chamber.

" Look at these symbols," Raven said, pointing to the series of intricate designs along the maps border. It was the same phrase we found in the castles library. -"they match the ones we found in the old manuscripts from the library's restricted section."

I nodded, remembering the hours we spont poring over those dusty tomes. " And these coordinates," I adde. Tescing the path with my finger.-" looks like the pathway thst leads to the chamber."

Raven's expression grew serious, a whiñe after reading something on the map." The chamber is said to hold secrets that could reshape our understsnd of history. If we can unlock ots mysteries, we might find awnsers to the questions that have plaqued scholars for centeries."

"But we have to be careful," I warned. In which Raven nodded in agreement.
