Elemental Love- (ON HOLD)

Chapter 5

When I woke up a saw a sizzling fire and Waterlily next to it. "Hi your up." Lily said. "Uhh, yeah how long has it been since Driss?" I replied. "Umm, let's see about 5 days."

"That long?!"

"Yup," Lily continued, "At one point you were gone, but I managed to do CPR."

"What happened after I was knocked out?" I said curiously.

"Well, I summoned water and drowned them, but we had a force field around us to protect us." There was still one more question on my mind.

"Am I a zombie now?"

"Not anymore, I sucked out all the zombie poison." Lily said clearly impressed by herself.

"Thanks" I had dozen of questions, but I needed to know where we were. I gazed around the cold shabby forest, dozens of mythical creatures surrounded us. The ones who have haunted me under my bed and in my closet. Thankfully Lily had a force field around us. I just wish it blocked vision from the outside world. "Uhh, what are those?" I asked. "Dread lookers, they look like your worst fear in a person. Like the person you hate or fear, or monsters from books that you have read and scared of." I got the shivers, and tucked my head into my arms. I had to much sleep to actually go to sleep, so I just closed my eyes.

-the next day-

I awoke to rattling chains, and Lily waking up as well. "What's that?" I bellowed. "Just the dread lookers leaving. I guess they found us un-entertaining." Lily mumbled. "What did you see in the creatures?" I asked. "Uhh, for another day I will tell you." Lily said quickly. "We have to go now, I am running out of energy for the field and have to regenerize."

"How do you do that?" I asked.

"Well, I have to...." Waterlily's voice trailed off and she stared at the crusty dirt we have been sleeping on. "I have to drink a liquid."

"What kind?"

"One only found in a lab that my step - dad used to work at."

"Where?"

"In Las Vegas." She mumbled

"Oh yay!! I have always dreamed of going to that place!" I screamed.

"It's a bad place to go, there are witches everywhere, bad ones."

"We don't have to go."

"Sure, unless you want to die. I will die without the energy and you will die without my force field."

"Oh," my face turning cherry red. I felt so stupid not thinking that and I was embarrassed as well.

"Well lets get a move on shall we?" I said interrupting the awkward silence. As we turned away with everything we needed for this adventurous trip, the thought hit me. "I have powers, right? Can you teach me how to use it and control it?" Lily looked at me with excitement, "Definitely, we will start when we hit next camp." When me, Avani Rosewood went to this camp she was a loner with fear, but now the new brave, intimidating Avani was leaving.
