Elemental Love- (ON HOLD)

Chapter 6

After we hiked the forest, where we were staying we finally hit the streets. We started in a deserted off the map town call Newtberry, Nevada where we lived. Sadly, it was a four hour adventure by car, so we might be a while until we get there. "Do you wanna play a game?" asked Waterlily.

"Umm I guess." I replied.

"This game is called I spy, I have to say a clue as to what I see and you have to figure it out! Got it?"

"I guess so." I honestly wasn't in the mood to play games, I was tired but not enough to go back to that stinky house.

"I spy with my little eye something..." Lily's voice trailed off as if looking for something for me to guess. As she looked I looked around for my turn, we were in the downtown area of Newtberry with little rundown corner shops, which were my favorite. We passed by a restaurant and I could smell the cheeseburgers from the other side of the street. My stomach grumbled, I haven't eaten since yesterday's moldy potato chips and meatloaf.

"I got it! It's brown with polka dots!"

"Lily did you bother to bring money for this trip?"

"Not exactly, why?"

"We need food." At that same moment my stomach grumbled.

"Oh," lily said obviously embarrassed, "Umm, I do have a spell to make food." Lily said.

"You can cast spells?" I asked excitedly. "Anyone can, they just have to have the right book for them and wand." Lily said impressed by herself. Waterlily took a mysterious looking book out with strange writing on the edges that wrap around, like a secret code.

"Here," Lily pointed to a spot in the book, "making food with magic." Lily read the passage and said, "Salmon and rice!" On the ground in front of us was, of course, salmon and rice. Lily and I went down on all fours, and ate the feast. I didn't realize how hungry I was until I started eating. We both were so hungry that we didn't even look for a utensil spell, we just ate with our bare hands. While we were devouring our meal on the ground with our bare hands, pedestrians gave us strange looks, but we kept eating. A few minutes later, I looked up for one second and I see the most handsome boy I have ever seen. His pale skin mixed with his blonde skater hair so perfectly. I also could see no flaws on his body what so ever, no fat, muscle, deep blue eyes that you could go swimming in. Perfect.

"Don't loose this." He said handing the wand and book to Waterlily. Waterlily? What about me?

"Uh, thanks." Lily managed to say without screaming, because probably one of the most handsome men on earth was standing right in front of her, talking to her.

"Daniel, yours?" Daniel said to Waterlily.

"Waterlily, Lily for short."

"Beautiful, uh, and yours?" Daniel said to me obviously disgusted. My heart dropped, about what felt like 500 stories in my body.

"Avani," I said with hatred. I hated this boy, suddenly he didn't seem so perfect after all. I could feel my eyes sparking with green electricity, I was about crush the ground, but stopped the urge, Lily seeing all this happen nodded in approval."Great," he said and turned back to Lily, "As I was saying, don't loose that book and wand, it is priceless." Daniel said. "How do you know?" Lily said. "Well darling, lets take a walk." He said and looped his arm around hers. Me, trolling behind, sighed.

"Well, I am universe, you are water, and she is well," Daniel glared at me. "Earth." He said demandingly.

"U-universe?!" Waterlily sputtered out. "OMG! Universe!!" Waterlily shouted. "Yes, as I was saying my mom taught me about the wand and bo-" Daniel said, but I interrupted, I had a plan, "Nobody cares, Ken." I muttered. "Did you just call me a plastic?!" Daniel said with hatred in his voice. Nothing happened, no spark, no sun disappearing, nothing happened. My plan worked, he wasn't one of us, but knew about us. If he was an element figure, he would show a sign of his element if he was mad, clearly mad, he didn't show anything. Maybe he could be one of us, hiding his anger and figure well, but I doubt it. "Yup, what are you going to do about it?" I said. "I will deal with you later," Daniel said with a mean look in his eye. Plan: "Get rid of Daniel" was working.
