The New Girl In Riverdale

"Audrey, do you think if something happens to us in this universe, then we'll also be hurt in our actual universe?" Tim asked a bit anxiously, digging his hands into the pockets of his jeans, while he, Audrey, and the rest of the Riverdale student body waited outside of the auditorium behind caution tape, while police and an investigative crime unit surveyed the area within the auditorium and around it. 

Audrey felt bile come up and a lump form in her throat when she saw the paramedics wheel a gurney out, with Midge's dead body hidden under a white cloth to transfer to the morgue. 

"Um, I don't know. I mean technically we are supposed to be in a fictional universe, but it all seems to real" Audrey said, keeping her voice low so the others wouldn't hear her. She tugged at the ends of her hoodie jacket, also a bit on edge because of Midge's murder. 

"What are you guys whispering about?" Kevin asked as he sidled up beside Audrey and Tim, turning and turning a silver ring on his right index pointer finger. 

Audrey raised an eyebrow as this looked a lot like a ring that Fangs wore.

 Hmm. 

'Not the time Audrey' she reminded herself. 

"Kevin, it's not safe here, you and your friends get home safe. Go back in groups and call me when you get home." Sheriff Keller, Kevin's dad, approached the trio, his expression equally as worried that a murder like this could happen in their quiet down of Riverdale. 

Kevin nodded, gesturing to Audrey and Tim to walk ahead of him. After Sheriff Keller went back to the crime unit to discuss more things, Audrey was walking down the sidewalk with Tim, Kevin a couple feet away. 

She noticed Kevin walked over to where Fangs and Sweetpea, and Toni were talking amongst themselves, and Kevin whispered something to Fangs who nodded, and grabbed his jacket, waving an arm to Sweetpea and Toni. 

Kevin and Fangs then joined Audrey and Tim to walk back towards their neighborhood. 

Fangs phone beeped, and he got a text as they walked. Audrey noticed he made extra measures to make sure the other three couldn't see his text screen. 

"Shoot. Keller, your dad is calling me and you to go back to be questioned at the auditorium. You too, Tim." he said, gesturing to Tim with a nod.

Audrey and Tim looked confused. 

"Me? But I was just an audience member.." Tim said, his eyebrows furrowing.

"Yeah why would Tim need to--" Audrey started to say until she heard a loud motorcycle revving up as it sidled up by the curb.

"Don't question a sheriff, is what I learned." Kevin said after a moment, although he was just as confused as Tim and Audrey were. 

"What is going on?" Tim asked, noticing the motorcycle occupant was Sweetpea, after he took his helmet off, his expression stoic. 

Audrey's mouth gaped open slightly, surprised as well. 

"Sheriff said people couldn't walk on their own." Sweetpea reminded them. 

"Well Audrey wasn't walking alone. We were with her until--" Tim started to say, a bit ticked off about the whole thing.
